Cabo Rojo, also known as the “Tourism Capital of Puerto Rico”, is the beach town preferred by locals when they want to enjoy a weekend of sun, sand, and a good time with friends and family. Located on the west coast of Puerto Rico, Cabo Rojo features one of the most naturally scenic landscapes in the country, including the panoramic Morrillos Lighthouse, with clear beaches, excellent hikes, and breathtaking sunsets. Some of the best beaches on the island are located in Cabo Rojo: Combate, Buyé, Boquerón, Playuela, and Playita Azul.

El Combate, the neighborhood in Cabo Rojo where the Combate Beach Apartment Is located, boasts several very good seafood restaurants. Seafood is king here: red snapper, mahi-mahi, and fresh lobsters are to be found in any of the restaurants in the neighborhood. The best beach in the area, Combate Beach, is only a 5-minute walk from the villa.

For the outdoors-loving guests, Cabo Rojo also provides the largest trail system on the island for both hikers and mountain bikers, most of them located in the Cabo Rojo Wildlife Refuge, a subtropical dry forest in the coastal region covering 1,836 acres of land.
For the deep-sea fishing enthusiast, Marina Puerto Real, located 15 minutes from the villa, provides fishing charters along the Caribbean Sean in world-renowned fishing holes such as Mona Island, El Pichincho, Desecheo Island, and Los Placeres.
