Make that dream vacation come true at this towering Buxton beach house located within easy walking distance of the ocean and less than four miles from Cape Point. This spectacular getaway boasts a sunny, open interior with an impressive great room set beneath a soaring, vaulted ceiling.

Brew up your morning coffee or prepare full-course dinners in the well-equipped kitchen, and then dine together at the breakfast bar or one of the nearby tables. For indoor entertainment, meet up in the main living area, where you can watch TV and warm up in front of the gas fireplace. This home also features a lower-level media room with a pool table for when you're craving a little friendly competition. Outdoors, cool off in your seasonal, private pool.

You'll also find a gas grill, tables, and chairs for alfresco dining, an outdoor shower for rinsing off the salt and sand, and multiple furnished decks. Additional amenities and features include a private washer/dryer and cool central air-conditioning.

Our stay started off a little rocky hot tub was not working and no tips on pools sticks so for about 4 days no hot tub. It rook a few calls to get it right. Gentlemen, that came out and fixed hot tub was great. Tips were fixed. After everything was done, we had great time here and we were compensated, for the 4 days, with no hot tub, so excellent service thereafter. Excellent location. We enjoyed our time. We will be rebooking for next year.

Unclean and Unresponsive

It was clear the residence had not been occupied in a while. There was no cleaning or inspection prior to our arrival. We arrived to a dirty house with ants everywhere. They were on every surface and the floor. They were live ants crawling everywhere and tons of dead ants all over the floors and windowsills. The towels and sheets had to be washed when we arrived due to the dead ants all over. The property managers were completely unresponsive. We were told every day of our 4 day trip that the local management had been contacted and that something would be done, but nothing was ever done. We never heard from the local management. We had to personally purchase cleaning supplies, scrub down every surface, and clean the floors. We set traps but they kept coming back and getting into our food. There were not enough towels provided to us for the number of people we had reserved the house for. Many of the light bulbs and light fixtures did not work. There weren’t lids on two of the outdoor trash cans, so there was two feet of standing water mixed with trash in the cans when we arrived. The hot tub had not been cared for and was filled with sand and grime. The cover for the hot tub was dry-rotted and disintegrating. The house itself was in a great location. The house had good amenities and games. The house would have served us well had it been cleaned and the property managers been responsive. It is clear this house was not well-maintained, nor did they care about the guests.

Beach

It was great. The problems we had were taken care of. It took some time but they compensated us . The house had plenty of dishes , glasses silverware. I did bring more pots but I cook big meals . It does take 24 hrs for the fridge to cool. But there is a foodlion 10 mins away. And the beach is less than a 3 min walk from the house. I will definitely be back !

Great Stay - could use some updating

Two families stayed here for the week (12 people). The layout of the house is great for big groups - plenty of beds and bathrooms. The pool and hottub were great. A few things that could be improved: The microwave worked but was very loud; the fridge smelled like fish when we arrived - we purchased Baking Soda for fridge/freezer, and by the next day it was better. Lastly, the decks could use some TLC... pressure washing at a minimum to clean them and there was also a loose board on first level.

Decently priced house, needs work

Decent price, walkable to the beach and near to convenience stores. It was a good stay with sufficient space for our family. And the good ends here. House was not clean enough compared to all my prior vacation stays. some bed sheets had stains. Insufficient/incorrect description of rooms. 1 room cannot be considered as 5ht BR. We felt short of bed room. Old and misleading pictures of the house. Not enough basic necessities such as trash bags, soaps and minimum needed kitchen items were not provided. Clothes dryer was not working. Not a single beach item such as umbrellas or Not a single beach item such as umbrellas or chairs were available. Tv in living room did not work for any smart feature. Only cable was working with limited channels. But there were good purposeful utensils. Dryer was not working. Wifi was weak in most parts of the house.
