The Space:

Pine Retreat is attached to the main house (it is not a standalone separate building). Your space is fully private with its own entrance, and you will have exclusive use of your accommodation area. You may see the main house from the outside, but you do not share any indoor spaces.



The bedroom features a queen bed, timber wall detailing, and large windows that allow natural light and views of the surrounding landscape. The space feels warm and uncluttered, suited for rest after a day outdoors.



The kitchen is fully equipped for basic cooking and includes a hotplate, microwave, fridge, kettle, cookware, and essentials. Please note there is no oven.



The unit also includes a small dining and air conditioning for comfort in warmer months, and a wall mounted TV.



The bathroom is modern and functional, with a walk in shower, vanity, and toilet.



Guests can step outside to enjoy the quiet surroundings, take short walks around the property, or walk to the nearby cloud mountain stream. Alpacas and lambs may be seen grazing in the surrounding area. The setting is rural and peaceful, with minimal noise and traffic.

The Neighborhood:

The property is located in a rural area surrounded by open land, mountain views, and grazing animals. It suits guests who prefer a quiet environment and simple surroundings while still being within driving distance of Lake Tekapo, Fairlie, and other local attractions.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended. The property is approximately a 15 minute drive to Lake Tekapo and around 15 minutes from the famous Fairlie Bakehouse. On site parking is provided.
