A World Away is a private luxury lakefront retreat on Lake Anna’s public side, set on 3.5 acres with 600 feet of shoreline and sweeping views. This ~7,567 sq ft estate features 8 bedrooms (5 suites), ideal for executive retreats, large gatherings, and multi-family stays. Enjoy a deck, hot tub, firepit, sandy beach, and a full game room with theater, pool table, ping pong, and foosball, plus direct access to boating, swimming, and fishing—offering rare privacy and a true D.C. escape.



Guest Access:

You have full access to our entire house, and property. Please let us know if you plan to rent a Pontoon Boat so we can refer you to our premier partner (DV Rentals LKA)! We have a boat ramp and pier that you can use during your stay.



Wine Tours: Discounted hourly rate for our guests with our partner, Monticello Wine Tour & Coach Company. Just let us know if you are interested and we will make the introduction!

**Additional Information:**

- All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.

- Quiet Hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM.

- 16 Adults Maximum

- Free Parking for up to 14 Vehicles. (No Parking or Driving on Grass)

- No Events Allowed without specific prior approval.

- No Pets Allowed without specific prior approval.



**Guest Requirements:**

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.



Important: Before check-in, the primary guest must complete our Guest Verification process. This helps us comply with short-term rental regulations and provides added protection for guests and the property.

After booking, you will receive a secure link to complete verification. Please complete it prior to arrival to ensure a smooth, quick check-in.

Damage protection is required for every reservation, regardless of where you booked. During verification, you will choose one of the following options:

 - $45 per night non-refundable damage waiver (recommended): no security hold and a simpler, faster process.

 - $3,000 refundable security deposit: requires a hold on a card and may take several business days to release after check-out, subject to any damage charges.

We use Yale keyless entry smart door locks and give you space but are available if you have any questions or need anything.
