The elegant Victorian spa town of Llandrindod Wells (9.5 miles) offers lakeside walks and boutique shopping, while the spectacular Elan Valley (15 miles) enchants visitors with its dramatic dams, reservoirs and famously dark starlit skies. Literary lovers will enjoy exploring Hay-on-Wye (20 miles), while adventure seekers can discover the peaks, waterfalls and wild beauty of Brecon Beacons National Park (18 miles).
