Inside, you’ll have a spacious open-plan living area with an impressive vaulted ceiling and wooden beams. The decor is neutral and stylish, giving the place a Scandi-style appearance. Please note there is no TV at the property, but there is Wi-Fi and guests are welcome to bring their own laptops or devices to watch programmes or films over the internet. You’ll love cooking in the neat corner kitchen, then enjoying tranquil meals at the traditional dining table. In warm weather, step outside and tuck into some Welsh cakes from your welcome pack, as you sip tea and absorb the lush views and fresh air. There is private parking for one car.


Just 0.5 miles away you can go walking in the delightful Cors y Llyn National Nature Reserve, which is full of wildflowers in summer, including orchids. Its 1-mile walk takes in a meadow, a pond and pretty woodland. You’ll have a pub and shops within 2 miles and more amenities in nearby Builth Wells, famous for its rich history and long stone bridge spanning the Wye. Further afield, you’re just 12 miles from the Elan Valley Lakes area, accessed via the scenic Aberystwyth mountain road, and 18 miles from the edge of the spectacular Brecon Beacons National Park.
