3 Elk Ranch est le joyau de la vallée de la rivière Arkansas. Situé à seulement 8 minutes de Buena Vista à une altitude de 8200 pieds, vous pouvez profiter de la beauté de la chaîne de montagnes Collegiate (tous les quatorze) comme Elk, Mule Deer et Antelope errant dans la vallée.

Cette belle maison en bois rond est de 3000 pieds carrés sur 130 acres avec un pont enveloppant assis à 20 pieds du 3 Elk Creek. La magnifique maison est remplie de vues dans toutes les directions.

Notre maison confortable dispose d'un salon spacieux face au mont Princeton, d'une grande cuisine et d'un coin repas face au mont. Harvard, quatre chambres de maître, 3 ½ salles de bain et 2 lits superposés pour enfants. Une cuisine avec toutes les commodités nécessaires à votre séjour.

Vous pouvez déguster un café pour le petit-déjeuner ou des cocktails en soirée sur la grande terrasse avec vue sur tous les côtés et sur le ruisseau. Amazing!

This is the second time we have stayed here and once again, it did not disappoint. The house itself is so comfortable and there is plenty of room for our family of nine to spread out. The property is simply amazing. We went on walks, rode bikes, and no matter we did, our kids were always eager to get back to the creek to play. The location is convenient to town and lots of hiking. Lynne and Tracy were wonderful hosts and very responsive to anything we needed. We had an amazing vacation and hope to return again in the future!

Perfect for our family xmas gathering

My siblings and I and our spouses had a wonderful, cozy, and scenic Christmas week with my 90 year old father. Great kitchen for cooking large meals. We loved relaxing in front of the beautiful stone fireplace. Convenient to many attractions (Leadville, hot springs, Salida). But mostly just a great place to be together.

This property was beautiful inside and out! We enjoyed the views and sound of the creek running through. The inside is like a western museum! Very clean and comfortable. Nice beds, plenty of bathroom space and fully stocked kitchen. It’s a wonderful place to spend time.

Home away from my home

This home and property was so welcoming, spacious and relaxing! The kitchen was supplied with everything we could possibly want and need. Working with the management was a pleasure and they answered all our questions. We sure hope we can come back next year.

Beautiful and Comfortable!

This house and property are amazing! The house is spacious and comfortable. With six bedrooms and four bathrooms, there was plenty of room for nine adults. The land around the house is even more beautiful than in the pictures. We were enthralled by the mountain views and loved sitting by the creek. The property owners also allowed us to have our wedding at the property, and it was perfect. Thank you so much for the stay! We definitely want to come back.

Amazing!

This house and property are absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. The house was perfect for our large family to have room to spread out, and the grounds are just awesome. Regardless of what we did during the day, our kids were always eager to get back to the house to play games, ride bikes, and play in and around the creek. The location is perfect also…out enough to make you feel like you are getting away, but very close/accessible to everything in town! Lynne was very responsive to everything we needed. We could it have asked for a better place to stay.

Winter wedding week

We were invited to a wedding on New Year's Day in Buena Vista and traveled from a number of different states to get there. We decided to turn it into a week vacation and not stay at the hotel but enjoy time together with family in a home. This home was perfect for a family vacation. It was roomy, numerous bathrooms and bedrooms and big kitchen that we could enjoy cooking together and having meals. I've already shared this house with friends out of state that may want to use it for their family vacation. We'd love to return and enjoy BV in the summer as well.

Loved Spending Christmas at 3 Elk Creek Cabin

We had a wonderful Christmas here with our adult children, their significant others, and my sister (there was 9 of us). We agree with the other reviewers that the house is even nicer than the photos show. We loved the rustic architecture and antiques. The kitchen and dining room were large for all of us to cook and eat together. The house was roomy and comfortable. All of the bedrooms were decorated nicely and very comfortable. There were plenty of bathrooms. There is a lot of land to just take walks on the property along with hiking and Buena Vista nearby. We also visited St. Elmo Ghost town, Cottonwood Hot Springs, Twin Lakes, and the Melenzana shop/Leadville. We even had snow on Christmas Eve and Christmas which was a surprise. We would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you very much!!

Great base for Buena Vista and the Collegiates

This was our annual outing to climb 14ers and our first time in the BV area. This was a fantastic property with the perfect location - easy access to both BV and the trailheads, while completely private and secluded. Communication with the owners was seamless, easy and very helpful. We will definitely consider coming back.

Family reunion paradise!

We rented this property for our 4th of July family reunion - it was the perfect location and size to accommodate everyone. We absolutely loved the cabin feel, large kitchen to gather and cook/eat. The cabin setting on acres of land with a stream running through it and wildflowers and Mountain View’s galore were stunning. When the property’s propane grill was broken we reached out to property managers and they were right on it and ended up bringing us a brand new one for our 4th of July cookout - that was much appreciated! My only suggestion for improvement is newer beds, mattresses and pillows to improve sleeping comfort. We hope to return sometime in a future year!

The property is on a beautiful piece of land with gorgeous views. The location was perfect for our trip with easy access to many hiking and biking activities. The perfect mountain log cabin! Great area!

The cabin is more beautiful than the pictures. Completely isolated with mountain views and it is back in the woods so you’ll never hear any neighbors (except the chipmunks). Close to hiking, trout fishing (river and Cottonwood Lake - we caught some browns) and hiking on the Colorado trail. Tracy and her staff we extremely responsive and took care of every need. By far the best mountain cabin we have ever rented!
