Clean & comfortable home near hot springs, wedding venues & downtown Buena Vista

The Blue House is approximately 4 minutes from downtown Buena Vista and has easy access to Cottonwood Pass, both Mt. Princeton and Cottonwood Hot Springs, local Drive-In movie theater, hiking trails, rafting, horseback riding, fishing and many other outdoor adventures to be found in Buena Vista.

The property is near Cottonwood Creek and the sounds of the creek can be heard from the back yard from late May-end of the summer season (we do not have direct access to the creek). It is not unusual to see wildlife, primarily deer, down by the creek and in surrounding areas. Expansive views of the beautiful Sawatch mountain range, framed by 14,000 foot Mt. Princeton are highlighted from the property. Additionally, the property has a large driveway with ample space for parking (and a lot of space for easy turn around for larger vehicles or trailers). The driveway and location is perfect for your ATV or snowmobile trailers!

The home is conveniently located just off of the Main Street in Buena Vista, so it is close to all of your adventures and very close to many of popular wedding venues, particularly the Barn at Sunset Ranch.

This Blue House is a wonderful fit for a family or couples. It has modern amenities and appliances in the kitchen, and is stocked with essential supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, linens, soaps, and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, etc.) . There are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, an en-suite full bathroom, and a walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds.

BATHROOMS
There are 2 full bathrooms in the home. One is located near the third bedroom of of the kitchen and the other is located in the main bedroom (en-suite).

Our bathrooms are stocked with towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is stocked with cookware and everything you need to prepare your meals. We provide salt & pepper, hand soap, dishwasher detergent, dish soap and trash bags. The kitchen table seats 4 and the island provides an additional 6 seats.

FAMILY ROOM
The family room includes two leather sofas, a chair & ottoman and a large flat screen TV. Guests may use the smart TV to log into their personal streaming accounts.

LAUNDRY ROOM/MUDROOM
The laundry room/mudroom has a washer & dryer. Detergent is provided. We also provide an iron & board for our guests.

Guests have access to the entire 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home, including the washer & dryer.

Guests do not have access to the garage or the basement/crawl space.

Guests also do not have direct access to the creek. The creek can be seen and heard from the property, but it is not on our property.

No smoking, no pets.

What a gem!

This place has everything a family needs. Close to a great playground and everything main street has to offer. Very close to Princeton trailhead as well. Great base camp for adventures!

A gem in Buena Vista!

I am a frequent visitor to Buena Vista. This place was such a lovely home, plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable, large kitchen and a killer view of Mt Princeton. Convenient location to everything in BV as well as the hot springs. The host was incredibly kind and responsive and let us check in early when we got in to town. We will definitely be staying here again in the future

One of the best we’ve stayed at

This house was so well crafted and maintained. Perfect location to enjoy the Buena Vista fireworks. Everything was clean and organized. We were in constant contact with the property manager, quick responses! The beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows, extra sheets, blankets, towels. Just a great property that is managed well. We will definitely stay here again!

Our adult family of 5 stayed here for a wedding. The home was very clean and the customer service was great. We reached out for fans because it was an extremely hot couple of days and they were brought right over.

A fine line between work and leisure!

Colleagues and I were traveling for work in BV (to host the most beautiful fundraising event) and the house made the entire trip. It was clean, beautiful, and easy to access. Great parking, wifi, and easy check in/out. I would recommend The Blue House as a stop for anyone hoping to enjoy Chaffee County!

Beautiful Blue House

The Blue House was beautiful, in an excellent location and every detail was thought of for their guests. My daughter forgot her tooth brush and they had some extras. All the rooms are so comfortable, lots of room for hanging out with the family and beautiful views of the mountains out the windows.

Great, great, great!

Carrie, the property manager was very prompt and a great communicator. The house was in a wonderful location for us to do all of our fun outings in BV. The house list of suggested restaurants and hikes, etc. is very helpful. The house was very clean and oh so comfortable. Very nice beds and soft towels :) Very comfortable place to be and we hope to visit again soon.

Annual Girls Trip

House was awesome and accommodated all of us girls. It was a non-stop adventure day driving from Denver, whitewater rafting and visiting the hot springs, we were exhausted traveling to check into the house. The check-in process was so easy and clear. House was clean and welcoming, shower was amazing, close to downtown BV. Thank you for opening up your house to us! Would stay here again!

Work Trip Stay

The stay was amazing. We had everything we needed inside the house. Very clean and organized house. There was an issue with the wiFi at one point and I contacted the host and she was very responsive. Her husband came out to the house and was able to fix the problem.

Beautiful, clean and cozy

Our family of 6 stayed here for two nights at the end of a week-long trip to Colorado over Christmas. The Blue House was the perfect place to end our time in Colorado...we only wish we could have stayed here longer! It was modern, clean, cozy and roomy. It was well-stocked and had many thoughtful touches. The location is very convenient to town and property manager was responsive and to emails and questions. We will definitely try to stay here again on our next trip through Buena Vista. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home!
