The picturesque Bude Canal, a renowned course fishery, stretches inland for two miles with easy walking along a historic towpath. To the North, as you pass a selection of sandy beaches you reach Hartland and Clovelly, once the scene of many shipwrecks. To the South, lies Boscastle with its natural harbour and Tintagel Castle the home of The King Arthur Legend. Port Isaac, famed as the fictional home of Doc Martin, is only a short distance. For enthusiasts of water sports and surfing, the beaches, fishing, playing golf, horse riding or walking on the South West Coast Path, Bude has it all.
