15 minutes from Puerto Vallarta Airport and 20 minutes from downtown. Complimentary transportation from airport to the resort can be provided. Rental cars are relatively inexpensive but a car is not needed.
Unit is located at the Grand Mayan, Nuevo Vallarta seaside resort.
RENTAL DETAILS
Sleeps 6 (6 Adults, and possibly 2 additional children under 12)
2 Bedrooms, 2.5 Bathrooms with one jet tub, Kitchen, Living Room, and a private terrace with splash pool. Twice daily maid-service included.
Resort includes a water-park, wave pool & lazy river, a Mayan-themed water slide and shallow/kiddie pool and over 20 on-site eateries. Other amenities include Kid's Club activities, Fitness Center, Spa, Tennis, and 3 championship golf courses.
The resort requires an ID and passport that matches the name on the confirmation and a major credit card. An authorization will be placed on the credit card at check-in for incidentals.
Special room requests can be made (but not guaranteed) at the front desk during check-in.
Your 2 BR unit will have a balcony with a private splash pool. Since actual units are selected at check-in, some balconies will have beach or jungle views, depending on availability at check-in. The common living space contains 2 sleeper sofa beds to accommodate additional guests.
Your unit includes a separate living area and kitchen. Kitchen contains a microwave, coffee maker, blender, stove, and refrigerator. There is tableware for 6. Dining Room has table & chairs to seat 6. The Breakfast Counter has stools for 2.
The master bedroom holds a king bed, flat screen 42" LCD TV, and sitting area with 1 sofa bed. The marble bathroom has a separate shower and jetted tub.
The second bedroom includes either a king bed or 2 full beds and en-suite bath, flat screen 42" LCD TV and 1 sofa bed. Specific units are assigned at check-in, much like a hotel. You may request your preferred bed size at check-in, but it will depend on availability.
On-site eateries offer over 20 restaurants for breakfast, lunch, dinner and bars, snacks, etc., amid the resort's tropical settings. They do offer the option of meal coupons which discount the meals. The coupons can be shared per couple or family. Each coupon is one meal per person. The resort does not offer an all-inclusive option.
After dark, savor international bites, tapas, and 24hr room service. Take in world-class entertainment at Santuario. Enjoy a selection of live music, shows, and classes. Special activities include botanical walks, cocktail classes, Movie Night, dinner shows like Fiesta Mexicana, and the popular Sea Turtle Release.

LOCATION
Situated on Banderas Bay and framed by the Sierra Madre mountains, the resort is located 15 minutes from Puerto Vallarta Airport and 15 minutes from downtown. The resort is a large complex, so you may have up to a 10-15 min walk to the beach depending on your building location. The resort offers shuttle service as well.

FEES
It's customary to leave a daily tip for the maids in your room; a 50 peso note (about $2.50 USD per day) is the suggested amount. Passports are required for travel to Mexico, including children. This is a cashless resort; all room charges and fees are paid upon check-out.
Extra amenities and services (e.g. spa treatments, golf, etc.) are payable at the resort.
While at the property, you may be asked to attend a tour on the benefits of owning a vacation plan with this resort. While you are not obligated to attend a tour or presentation, the resort may offer room and amenity upgrades or other incentives.
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
While I will not be staying at the unit during the guest's stay, we have an on-site VIP representative, and you may communicate via cell or email during the stay to address any needs or concerns.
