Enjoy Burt Lake and the Inland Waterway from this 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath lakefront family home. Rent or bring your boat and cruise up the Indian River or park at the Maple Bay sandbar. After returning from a day on the water, grill and hang out on the large deck and watch the sunset over the water. This home features all of the modern conveniences such as a well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, fireplace and more. This cottage has a private dock, large deck and yard and waterfront.

Palmer’s Burt Lake Cottage

Our family of four had a fantastic time at Palmer’s Cottage. The house is very spacious with tons of space to spread out. There are 3 showers (4 total bathrooms) which was super helpful after the group finished up swimming. The property is spacious and well maintained. There is a large dock and shallow water for floating and fun. There are lots of golf options within 25 minutes that was super convenient for us along with a similar distance to Mackinaw. Overall, great experience and would certainly recommend this cottage!

Conveniently located near Mackinac Island, Charlevoix, Traverse City, Boyne. Someplace for everyone. Something to do for everyone. Hope to be back next year.

The TV is a tube tv that cuts off at side because of the format that things are shown today. The beds very very hard. Great Weber grill . Great view. Large kitchen and deck but both umbrellas are in need of replacement.

Nearby bike path was nice.The house was very disorganized. Lots of towels, cleaning equipment, games, etc thrown (literally) in various closets. It was hard to find stuff because of that. Also, the bathrooms are outdated. Not a huge deal, but the showers could use some work. Lake front is not the best for swimming. If you do, bring water shoes! All towns are at least 30 minutes away.

It was also a very quiet area. The appliances and furniture are somewhat dated but that is not a big deal. The internet is locked but I was able to use my cell phone as a hot spot. I would stay here again.

Great Location on Burt Lake

Roomy, open and spacious. Great house to accommodate large families or friends. Rent a boat to explore the chain of lakes. Nearby golf was excellent. 20 minutes away from Petosky restaurants and shops.
