Welcome to The Hygge House by The Curated Escapes! We are an independently owned cabin run by a husband and wife team who are passionate about hosting. The brand new Scandi Inspired Cabin is a nod to my husbands Scandinavian roots, & executed with my Japanese sense of precision, no detail has been left to chance. Ex: I have our cleaning crew empty and sanitize the hot tub between guests! We are privately owned and operated and we are passionate about hosting. The Hygge House is the ultimate Romantic getaway or quiet escape for a small family. We want your stay to be magical, memorable & perfect.The cabin is lined with huge sun filled windows, soaring ceilings, and tree filled views. From the stained wood beams to the designer furniture, this luxurious, comfy, and cozy cabin is surrounded by towering pines and provides almost 1300 sq ft for you to unwind and relax in. This gorgeous space offers 1 bedroom, a living room with pullout bed, and has both a guest and a master bath with couple’s shower. It is sure to be the ultimate getaway. As you enter our clean, crisp space, you will see no detail was spared.

We want you to have a fabulous experience and so we offer the fastest WIFI available in Broken Bow, a coffee bar, a huge assortment of games and a fully loaded kitchen. The Hygge House is conveniently located just minutes from all the hottest restaurants, attractions, and the state park. Check out our extensive guidebook for all of the locals’ favorite spots!

Although The Hygge House is an ideal romantic couple’s cabin, as a young family ourselves we wanted to make sure the cabin was enjoyable for small families as well. There is a full sized pullout bed in the living room for added guests, and we offer a pack n’play, highchair, children’s dishes, games and a step stool for those with young children.

The master bath boasts a tiled couple’s shower, a deep soaking tub (with lavender bath salts) and lots of privacy. We offer luxury shampoo, conditioner, and Dove soap. Feel free to use the washer and dryer and Tide Pods while you are with us. We also offer a half bath off the living room to keep your master bedroom space private.

The master bedroom has been carefully designed with curated art made by independent artists and small business owners. There is a 50’’ Roku TV, luggage rack, our favorite sheets, and an incredibly comfortable King size bed you will not want to leave. Feel free to snuggle up under the mounted reading lamps with your favorite book or cuddle and open the doublewide glass doors overlooking the hot tub which is emptied between guests and trees lining the backyard oasis.

The living room is the perfect place to curl up and enjoy the gas fireplace or unwind and watch the 55 inch Roku TV, or sit back and enjoy the near panoramic view and watch the deer pass through the yard. Our gas fireplace is turned on seasonally from October 1st through April 15th. The designer couch also offers a pullout bed for additional sleeping for smaller families. On those rainy or lazy days, check out our collection of games including; Yahtzee, Boggle, Checkers, Cribbage, Chess….to name a few.

Our open kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, has everything you will need. Whether you want a pizza pan or an electric griddle we have you covered. If you want to stay in and bake cookies, make a smoothie and pancakes for breakfast in bed, or whip up a martini you will have all the tools at your disposal. We also have both an icemaker and coffee bar for your enjoyment. Indulge in an assortment of Keurig pods, sweeteners and creamer because any good day should start with a hot cup of coffee.

But don’t forget to slip outside and soak in all of the fun with over 1,000 sq ft of covered deck space! Our front porch is the perfect spot to curl up, drink your morning coffee and watch the sun rise. The back porch spans the entire length of the house, with one end housing a 4-person hot tub, which is emptied and sanitized between each guest. There is also a large dining room table and gas grill. Enjoy a few burgers, beers and try your hand at our custom ring toss game. We also offer corn hole, because no cabin is complete without it! On the other end of the large back covered deck is a comfy L shaped couch with TV and gas fireplace to enjoy (available seasonally from October 1st through April 15th) . Then head out back and take advantage of our custom stone fire pit. S’mores anyone?! (the roasting sticks are in the kitchen)!

We are tucked in the mountains and woods but only 3 minutes off the freeway! It is the ideal location, you get the intimacy of the woods, but the convenience of all the best restaurants, activities and Parks just minutes away. The Hygge House is just minutes from the top restaurants in town, including the Grateful Head, Rolling Fork, Okie Girls and the Mountain Fork Brewery.

Parking at the cabin is ample, with a big circle driveway that is long enough to accommodate a truck with a Boat or ATV Trailer. Located just minutes from the brand new Maze and just to the North of Hochatown Distilling Company, Okie Girls Coffee and Ice Cream, and Mountain Fork Brewery.
