Carefree Cottage is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom pet friendly cabin in Hochatown, OK. Carefree Cottage is located in the Sunrise Ridge East development. This cabin is privately managed with no extra fees. The cabin is located just minutes from popular restaurants, Beavers Bend State Park, and the beautiful Broken Bow Lake. Sleeping arrangements include 1 king size bed.

Carefree Cottage is the escape you have been looking for. Carefree Cottage has an open living and kitchen concept. Barn doors separate the master bedroom from the living room giving you privacy when needed. Carefree Cottage is nestled in the woods and a perfect location for a relaxing getaway.

Pet friendly with a $150 pet fee (max 2 pets). Additional pets are subject to an additional $50 fee each and must be approved by owner. A signed rental agreement will be required prior to your stay. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance through VRBO.

Great couples getaway.

We stayed for 3 nights midweek and the cabin and location were perfect for us. We enjoyed the ease of check in and ample privacy in this clean, well stocked space. We had our morning coffee while enjoying the silence on the back porch.The location is a mile from anything you could want, we greatly enjoyed the breweries and restaurants that were all a short drive.100% would stay again.

Christmas Getaway

Peace on Earth!!

My Husband and I booked this lovely cabin for our 10 year anniversary and all I can say is WOW! We were blown away by the gorgeous cabin and how cozy it was, while being completely modern with its amenities. We have told anyone who is traveling to BB to check out this gem!! The owners were amazing as well, communication was a breeze and they were so accommodating!

Perfect Trip, Perfect Cabin

We booked this cabin for our 10 year anniversary, and it was the best decision we made! This house is perfect for a couple or someone who wants to disconnect. The area is so quiet even though there are other rentals around it. The house is so cute and comfortable. The owners thought about everything that could be needed and it was provided. I always struggle sleeping in a different bed, but this one was so good it had me forgetting when I even fell asleep and was amazing for early day naps. If you stay, go check out The Yard Under The Pines up the road and grab some candy from the Candy Store. We will absolutely be staying here again!

Absolutely Wonderful Cabin!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! Wonderfully equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture and bed, and extremely clean! We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to the area! I would absolutely recommend this cabin to family and friends! Great cabin in a great location!!

We spent our 20th wedding anniversary here and it was perfect! The cabin was closer to other cabins than we thought but it still a nice spot. Close to everything. The tub/shower was our favorite part of the cabin!

We were very impressed with everything, from the shower, to the fire pit. Hot tub to the kitchen and bedroom. Everything needed for our stay was there. We plan on coming back someday, hopefully sooner then later.

Beautiful cabin, convenient location

We had a wonderful stay in this cabin for our 20th anniversary. It's close to all the action, but far enough off the main strip to be quiet and relaxing. One thing to note, though... it's in a neighborhood with other cabins very close by. You can see and hear people next door, so if total seclusion is what you're looking for, this isn't it. The mattress and pillows were heavenly and the water pressure was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the shower "room" and watching TV on the covered deck was a perfect way to spend a rainy morning. Jennifer, the host, was extremely fast to respond when we needed a little help getting the fireplace to light. We would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others! Just a couple of small suggestions that would have made our stay a little easier... The bathroom really needs some additional hooks or towel bars for hanging wet stuff. Or even a drying rack that could be set up out by the hot tub. We were constantly trying to find a place to hang stuff and since the doors are so tall, we couldn't even throw the towels over them. It would have been great to have had some cleaning spray or a small package of Clorox wipes included in the kitchen supplies. There's only so much you can do to tidy up after a meal with wet paper towels!

Absolutely Wonderful

We loved everything about our Spring Break getaway at the Carefree Cabin. The house was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfy, and we loved soaking in the hot tub after our hikes at Beaver Bend State Park with our pups. We will definitely return in the future!

Absolutely relaxing!

This was a beautiful cabin and one of the easiest stays we’ve had! I needed a stress free getaway and this proved to be exactly that. I woke up in the morning, sat in front of the fireplace drinking coffee and looking out the beautiful windows and went to bed after a nice soak in the hot tub. We chose not to cook but the kitchen is adequately supplied with everything I think you’d need for a basic meal. Several of the restaurants are must try’s! The area seemed to be under construction which was a little down side so we didn’t see much wildlife in the immediate area of the cabin (except one large raccoon that visited frequently). We were never bothered by any noise of construction but it seemed trees hadn’t regained their growth. Overall, I will definitely visit this property again- I’d love to visit in the spring or summer or return to the owners larger property with more family!
