*** Not Your Grandpa’s Cabin*** is a gorgeous modern luxury cabin on the edge of Ouachita National Forest, minutes from beautiful trails at Beavers Bend State Park, Broken Bow Lake. Centrally located, our cabin is approximately one mile from the Carson’s Creek entrance to the State Park and minutes from all of the best restaurants and activities Hochatown has to offer. Not Your Grandpa’s Cabin is perfect for one to two families, or for a guys / girls getaway!

This spacious 1540 square foot cabin has a warm, contemporary interior and is nestled in 1.5 acres of peaceful woods. The open concept living space has ample views of beautiful Oklahoma Pines. The cabin sleeps up to 9, with two master bedrooms, each with a king bed, tv, and en suite bathroom. One bedroom also includes 2 additional lofted twin beds with ladder access. Triple twin bunks are tucked between the master bedrooms and sit next to a half bath. Adults and children will enjoy the seated arcade console full of classic games like Pac Man, Dig Dug, and Donkey Kong. A well appointed indoor kitchen with double ovens stands ready for your group’s use and enjoyment.

Step out back onto the expansive 15-foot-high deck standing among 80 ft tall pines. The deck features comfortable seating, a gas fireplace, TV, an outdoor kitchen with dining, and a hot tub for soaking just down the stairs off the deck.

In the front of the cabin a fire pit with plenty of seating is ready for s'mores and conversation with friends and family. Additionally, an outdoor swing for 2 is great fun for young and old alike. And don't forget about the horseshoe game!

Living room has a gas fireplace, 55 inch TV (including YouTube TV streaming), and a video game console.

Kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances, and utensils that you need. Disposable items provided include paper towels, dish soap, and trash bags. We provide a starter set of Keurig coffee pods. Kitchen offers both Keurig and regular coffee makers.

Bathrooms have showers (no tubs), with a shower stool. We provide toilet papers, bath/hand soap, and towels, and blow dryer. Bring your own hair shampoo / conditioner.

The deck features comfortable seating, a second gas fireplace, TV, an outdoor kitchen with dining, and a hot tub for soaking just down the stairs off the deck.

Pets: Our cabin is pet friendly to well-trained dogs (two maximum) with pet fee of 100$ plus 16.25% tax. Should you decide to bring your pets, we do provide a small and a medium crate for your pets while you’re away from the cabin and please note to include pet fee when making the reservation.

We provide the fastest internet available locally (fiber optics at 1 Gbit up snd down). A 220V outlet is available to charge your electric vehicle (must provide your own charging cord of at least 40 feet long)

Surveillance cameras are located outdoors on the front and back entrances, for security purposes.

Motion detectors and indoor alarms to be disabled while occupied.

What is not provided: Personal shampoo and conditioner, food and coffee (we provide starter set of coffees) and firewood for the outdoor fire pit are not provided.
