Broadstairs train station is just a 0.4 mile walk (10 minute walk), so really ideal if you want to leave your car at home. The high speed train stops at the station and the journey from London is only 1 hour 20 minutes.

The apartment is also the ideal base for exploring the other local seaside towns of Ramsgate and Margate; both are approx a 10 minute drive or can be reached by the regular bus service or train.

Further afield, Canterbury, Whitstable, Deal and Sandwich are all approx 20 - 30 minutes drive.

Travelling by road: The M20 and M2 motorways provide easy links from London into Thanet.

Broadstairs train station is short walk 10-15 min walk down the high st and is regularly served by South Eastern High Speed services travelling to/from London St Pancras as well as trains from London Victoria. The train from London St Pancras takes 80-90 minutes and a little longer from Victoria, and it’s just 50 minutes from Ashford International station

The National Express runs a national network of coach services. Coaches run from London Victoria to various stops in Thanet and take approximately 2 hours.

Frequent bus services: The Thanet Loop serves Margate, Cliftonville, Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Westwood Cross.

There are many local reasonalbly priced taxi companies serving Thanet.

• Please ALWAYS turn light on in shower room when showering. This pull cord also activates fan/dehumidifier.
•There are is a flight of stairs from the large entrance hallway (also perfect for storing buggies and prams).

• Please let your host know if you are bringing a pet. A maximum of 2 Small to medium sized dogs are welcome. A pet fee is payable - please follow the house rules for dogs. The accommodation does not have a garden, the seafront and beach are a 5 minute walk away (please check the council website re dog friendly beaches).
