The neighbourhood
Set in one of Broadstairs’ most sought-after coastal spots, the apartment is right beside the well-known North Foreland Golf Club on Convent Road, giving guests a rare mix of sea air, open views and peaceful surroundings. North Foreland Golf Club offers golf facilities on its main course and an 18-hole par 3 course, making the location especially appealing for golfers and guests who enjoy a scenic coastal setting.

Broadstairs is one of Thanet’s best-loved seaside towns, known for its character, relaxed atmosphere and beautiful coastline. The town has seven sandy beaches, while the wider Thanet area offers coastal walks, golf, galleries, museums and year-round attractions across Broadstairs, Margate and Ramsgate.

Please note: The apartment is located on the first floor and is accessed via two small flights of stairs from a communal entrance. There is no elevator in the building. Therefore, this property is not recommended for anyone who may have difficulty with stairs or requires wheelchair access.

The luxury apartment boasts a modern, open space kitchen/diner/lounger area, a double bedroom and under floor heating throughout. The most spectacular views of the golf course and the Kent coastline can be enjoyed from comfort of the balcony seating area.

It’s perfect for either a family or couples who are looking for an escape to the coast or anyone looking to enjoy the all-year round golf course which the apartment overlooks.

The spacious living room has a sofa as well as a double sofa bed so the apartment can sleep up to 4 people. There is Smart TV with Netflix which is free for our guests to use along with access to a super-fast Wi-Fi connection.

The open planned, fully equipped kitchen houses an induction hob and integrated oven and microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The kitchen also has a kettle, toaster, and a coffee machine. There is also a dining table for those looking to spend their evenings in the comfort of the apartment.

The bedroom homes a King size bed, extensive wardrobe space and a full-length mirror. The bed can also be split into two singles if desired.

The apartment has an allocated parking space which is free for our guests to use for the duration of their stay. There are also two EV charging points available for guests to use.

Getting around

By train
The nearest station is Broadstairs railway station, which is managed by Southeastern and has regular services linking Broadstairs with London, Margate, Ramsgate and other Kent destinations. This makes the apartment a practical choice for both weekend breaks and longer stays without a car.

From the station to the apartment
From Broadstairs station, the apartment is a short taxi ride away in the North Foreland / Kingsgate area, beside the well-known North Foreland Golf Club on Convent Road.

By bus
Thanet is well served by local bus routes, and Broadstairs has regular connections to nearby towns including Margate and Ramsgate. Stagecoach’s 946 route links Margate and Broadstairs, and the wider area also benefits from frequent local services across Thanet.

By taxi
Taxis are an easy option for local journeys, station transfers and late arrivals. One local operator, Central Cars Thanet, states that it runs a 24/7 taxi service in Broadstairs and Thanet, which can be useful for guests arriving by train or heading out in the evening.

By car
The area is straightforward to reach by road, and Thanet has strong links between Broadstairs, Margate and Ramsgate. Having a car makes it easy to explore beaches, coastal walks, restaurants and nearby attractions at your own pace. The apartment also benefits from allocated parking, which makes arrival and day trips more convenient. Broadstairs Town Council also notes local parking options in town, including St Peter’s Park Road car park behind Broadstairs station.

Local travel tip

This is a great base if you want a quieter setting while staying close to everything. You get the peace of the North Foreland area, right beside North Foreland Golf Club, while still being within easy reach of Broadstairs town centre, the seafront, beaches, shops and restaurants by car, taxi or local bus.

Great week away

We had a lovely stay at the property, the apartment was very clean and had everything we needed, we found it very relaxing. The view was wonderful, we were so lucky to have great weather too and even managed to have breakfast on the balcony twice, which was amazing in March. So close to the lovely beaches too, we enjoyed Broadstairs and had a great roast at The Jetty. We enjoyed the Shell Grotto, Turner Gallery and caves in Margate on the one rainy afternoon.
