? Manly Haven is a four-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home on a quiet residential street in Manly, the marina village on Brisbane's Moreton Bay foreshore, roughly 16km southeast of the CBD. It sleeps eight across four separate bedrooms — two kings and two queens — and it's set up for the kind of trip where three generations turn up at once and everybody needs somewhere to put their bag.
?️ The layout does the heavy lifting. Four bedrooms means nobody is on a fold-out. Two full bathrooms plus a separate powder room means the 8am rush sorts itself out. And black-out blinds in all four bedrooms matter far more than they sound like they do when there's a toddler in the group, or someone who'd quite like to sleep past sunrise on the bay.

The kitchen is a genuine cooking kitchen rather than a token one: oven, stovetop, dishwasher, microwave, full fridge-freezer, blender, toaster and kettle, plus both a drip coffee maker and an espresso machine ☕. ⛵ The location is the reason to book Manly over anywhere else on the bayside. Cambridge Parade — the village high street of cafés, bakeries, restaurants and shops — and the Royal Esplanade waterfront are both a short walk from the door, with the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron marina at the end of it. The Jan Powers Farmers Market runs along the Esplanade on the first and third Saturday of each month ?, and the Manly Creative Markets fill Little Bayside Park on Sundays.
For families: the Wynnum Wading Pool and its adjoining playground fill with seawater at high tide, the Wynnum Mangrove Boardwalk is an easy half-hour of wildlife spotting ?, and the flat foreshore path runs for kilometres of safe cycling ?.
