For lovers of the great outdoors, the national park is on your doorstep, with endless opportunities for walking, cycling and exploring. You can hire a mountain bike or try pony trekking at Cantref Adventure Farm (2 miles), while Llangorse Lake (8.5 miles) offers the chance to try sailing, paddleboarding, or kayaking surrounded by stunning mountain views. History buffs will be spoilt for choice, with some of Europe’s most remarkable castles also nearby.
