Tucked into the pines just south of Breckenridge, Crown Ridge Retreat is the kind of mountain escape that makes you forget what day it is. The A-frame silhouette rises through the trees with soaring windows that pull the forest â and the Tenmile Range beyond â right into the living room. Inside, vaulted wood ceilings, a pitched great room, and a warm, lodge-inspired design set the tone for slow mornings and long evenings spent exactly where you want to be.
The heart of the home is a double-height living space anchored by a stone fireplace and wrapped in glass, where sunlight pours in across the hardwood floors. A sun-drenched glass sunroom off the main level is made for board games, a second cup of coffee, or watching the snow fall over the peaks. The kitchen opens to a dining area that easily seats the whole crew, and a separate lounge with a dartboard and flat-screen TV gives the group a second spot to spread out.
Five sleeping areas host up to ten guests across a king primary, two queen bedrooms, a twin room, and a queen sleeper sofa â plenty of room for families, friend groups, or a mix of both. Two full bathrooms and a half bath keep the morning shuffle painless.
