What a location: Walk across the street to hop on the Breck Gondola and at the end of your ski day, ski right to the complex, store your skis and head to your townhome! And the townhome itself is beautiful: premium furniture and finishes, with the complex pool and hot tubs right out the back door. This is a fantastic mountain getaway; your family and friend will love it!

The elegant Mountain Thunder resort offers a rustic vibe with fantastic amenities located in a beautiful wooded area in the heart of Breckenridge. And this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 1057 sq. ft. premium townhome is the perfect retreat for seven guests; it’s great for two couples to share too! The living area features a stone gas fireplace, and there’s a large flat-screen TV for relaxing after a long day on the slopes. Right off the living room is the patio with an outdoor dining table overlooking the pool area. Stainless-steel appliances and large granite counters in the full kitchen provide plenty of space for cooking when you’re not exploring Breck’s great dining options. There’s seating for six at the dining table and three more at the counter.

You’ll enjoy access to the shared hot tub and pool, as well as an onsite gym. Other amenities include a private one-car garage, a stackable washer & dryer located in entry way closet, a private gas grill, shuttle service, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Plus, all Summit Mountain Rentals properties are professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival and stocked with hotel-like toiletries and linens. Our helpful staff is also available 24/7 should you need anything.

Location – Walk to town and ski to your door, you cannot beat this location in Breckenridge! Mountain Thunder Lodge sits off Park Ave. within walking distance to the Breckenridge Station Gondola and Main St (about 0.3 miles/three blocks). Just outside of the complex is the Skyway-Skiway Run that allows skiers to ski home at the end of the day. A complimentary resort shuttle is also available to take guests to the mountain or anywhere in town.

Mountain Thunder Resort Amenities – The elegant yet rustic grand lobby of Mountain Thunder Lodge features a beautifully decorated sitting area that with log accents, slate floors, plush furniture and a fireplace. It also features a fitness center, complimentary shuttle, conference/business space, common area outdoor pool & hot tub area with gas grills and a children’s play area.

One Ski Hill Place Resort Amenities – Being a guest of Mountain Thunder Lodge also gives you access to One Ski Hill Place Resort located at the base of Peak 8. Amenities include two pools, indoor hot tub, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam room, bowling alley, movie lounges, game room, fitness center, rejuvenation center, restaurants, ski school and a complimentary resort shuttle.

We stayed at this townhouse and had a fantastic time in Breckenridge seeing the fall foliage. The kitchen is well stocked and the furniture is very comfortable in the dining room, living room and the king bed is also comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again!

While this property is comfortable and conveniently located (within walking distance) to Main St Breckenridge, the gondola, City Market, etc, it's specific location is adjacent to the on-site pool and two hot tubs. The loud conversations and playing in the pool made it challenging to sleep after dark. Additionally, the bed linens could be updated as they seem overused and the floor rugs and carpet should be cleaned or replaced as they were quite dirty/stained. We've stayed in other properties in this development on previous visits, including the lodge, and not sure we'd return to this property.

Lovely Mountain Condo

Exactly as advertised, this beautiful Mtn condo was perfect for our ski trip accommodating two adult couples. The kitchen was fully stocked for the chef with cookware, cutlery, glassware and place settings. The sofa was very comfortable for relaxation at end of day and the dining chairs were also comfortable for playing late night games. Ski-in from 4 o’clock trial and the heated garage was a perfect combo at end of day. Not to mention keeping the car dry during the snowy week. Thank you for sharing your home for us to enjoy.

Great Ski Trip

Everything about the Unit was just as advertised. Very nice, clean, and convenient. Perfect size for 4 people (my wife and I and my daughter and her BF). Hot tub as awesome and the heated garage was a nice feature!!! Property management was very responsive and checked on us to make sure everything was ok. Not a Ski-Out, but essentially a Ski-In via Four O’Clock Run. About a 10-12 minute walk to the Gondola, which wasn’t the best with skis and boots! We’d rate it a 9 out of 10.

Winter Breck skiing

This was a beautiful home and a great location for skiing. Easy ski in/ski out and conveniently located near town. The management company does not provide a garage door opener - because of high risk of getting them stolen or lost. Hopefully they will in the future. But what a great home to stay in Breck! We loved it!

Wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful stay! We were in other townhouses at the resort (there was a group of us attending a wedding), and this one by far was the nicest! Management company was very attentive and checked in a few times to make sure our stay was going well! Easy 5-10 min walk to Main Street. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Cute townhome. Love that it made it feel larger thank condos with high ceilings. Comfortable beds. We loved that you get access to the pool right outside the door, it was walkable to Main Street, and you had access to other resort with indoor po.

We would stay here again, and that's an achievement

This is our third location staying at Breck - twice with VRBO/ABB and once in a hotel. We like this place the most. Enough space for the four of us (and then some), great ski-in location, half block from the shuttle stop (or walk 1/3 mile to Gondola). Rooms were spacious and comfortable. A couple of notes, which I consider minor. Cookware is getting a little old, where non-stick is starting to flake. We bought a $20 cast iron and left it there, if people know how to clean it. From the pics, I thought the pool/hot tub was accessible from the back deck - you actually have to walk around. Still, you can see everything from the deck so can communicate with others not swimming/tubbing. One car garage was great for us. Washer/Dryer worked very well. TV is nice and big. Beds were pretty comfortable and bathrooms were nice. I think we'll be back if we hit Breck next year!

Great Ski Weekend!

My husband and I stayed here for a ski weekend at Breckenridge. The location is perfect. Close to the gondola (about 1/4 mile walk) to get on the slopes in the morning and a trail that comes even closer for quick return after skiing Breck! Super close to the restaurants/shops in town as well. The condo was wonderful; hot tub/pool were fabulous. We had a slight hiccup getting keys, but it was solved quickly and everything else was very smooth. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Breckenridge!
