Luxury Retreat w/Mountain Views + Hot Tub + Ski Shuttle - Royal Retreat

Moving Mountains is excited to offer complimentary shuttle service for this luxury vacation home from mid-November through mid-April.

In winter, Royal Retreat is a beautiful snowy paradise, the perfect upscale mountain lodge for sipping hot chocolate by the fireplace after a day on the nearby ski slopes or exploring the premises on snowshoes.

Summer showcases the beauty of this 9-acre retreat, with moose, deer, and other wildlife sightings common from the steps of this home, in addition to incredible mountain views and fishing within 25 feet of your doorstep. Endless National Park trails are within walking distance, creating a special getaway that is hard to find anywhere else.

This home has exceptional curb appeal with its mountain backdrop, rich wood and cedar shake siding, stone accents, and welcoming architectural elements. Inside, the great room boasts vaulted ceilings, a rock fireplace, and large windows that bring the outdoors inside. Cozy up with friends and family on plush seating or step outside and warm up around the front fire pit. With its desirable open concept layout, the great room unfolds to the dining area and kitchen and loft above with wide plank wood floors, exposed beams, and rustic décor.

Chefs will enjoy the beautiful kitchen with generous workspace, professional-grade appliances, custom cabinetry, double ovens, and two sinks. A large kitchen island with a decorative stone front and granite top adds bar seating for five and is the perfect place for onlookers or additional seating. The dining table includes bench seating for eight, the perfect place to enjoy a meal and recap the day’s events. A grill and seating area on the back patio is perfect for happy hour in the summer months, with the comforting sounds of the river as background music.

On the main floor is the primary king suite, with TV, patio access, and a beautiful ensuite with dual sinks, jetted soaking tub, and glass walk-in shower, all surrounded by mountain views. A nearby family room can host movie and game nights or a quiet place to get away and read. On the upper level are three more rooms - a king bedroom, and two queen bedrooms, each with its own elegant bathroom and gorgeous views. An upstairs apartment offers more space with a king ensuite room and a bedroom with two twin beds and one twin over twin bunkbed, a TV, and an air hockey table the kids will love.

The back patio is the place to be for gathering around a second fire pit with Adirondack chair seating or take a relaxing soak in the private hot tub after a long day of adventures. No matter what your group has planned, Royal Retreat is the location for you, with its close proximity to both nature and historic downtown Breckenridge. This one-of-a-kind home is a masterpiece of comfort, rejuvenation, sure to create a lasting memorable vacation.

Remote workers and guests will enjoy the upgrade to Starlink high speed broadband internet service, a cutting edge technology capable of supporting streaming, online gaming, and video calls.

Other amenities include a washer and dryer, and a 2-bay garage with parking for five cars total.

Regretfully, weddings and events are not permitted in Moving Mountains homes.

SHUTTLE
This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis.

GUEST SERVICES
Moving Mountains has a Guest Services Team, offering full-service vacation planning assistance prior to your trip. You will be assigned a dedicated specialist who will guide you through all the activities and services available. You will also have access to our online Guest Portal where you can find extensive details about your reservation, your residence and guest services.

IN HOME AMENITIES
All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.

This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down, and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee.

Beautiful home and quiet location

This is the 5th time we have rented this home, but the first time with Moving Mountains. The house is absolutely fabulous as always but the game changer was the new management. They are fantastic. The house was clean, well stocked and they made certain all our needs were met. Highly recommend!

Family vacation

There were 12 of us, all family vacationing in celebration of grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. The house was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone. The river was right behind the house which we thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the backyard, enjoying the sound of the river And stargazing at night. Moving mountains Staff was amazing and super attentive. They met us at the house to go over everything initially, which was super helpful. Then later, when we did have an issue, they had the maintenance guy stop by within the hour. Can’t say enough good things about them and their property! Will definitely return again!

Spring Break with Family

The perfect house! We were all just so impressed with this beautiful home. The property managers were on point every step of the way and so informative, helpful and always responsive anytime we had questions. The home was in a great location just outside of Breckinridge and having the shuttle available anytime we needed to get into town was AMAZING! We rented a jeep at the airport but really didn’t even need it once we got to the house. Booking the shuttle on the app was simple and the drivers were very friendly, helpful and informative as we were first timers to the area. They took us to the grocery store, ski lifts and downtown to shop. Such a great asset to staying here. The house had everything we needed for a large family. Every family had their own bedroom and bathroom which was great! We had all the amenities that we needed like fans, humidifiers and LOVED the little play area for our granddaughters. They plowed the road and driveway everyday. The hot tub was amazing to sit in while watching it snow. And it snowed ALOT while we were there. Just absolutely beautiful!! I cant say enough about how amazing our experience with our lodging was. I would give 10 stars if I could. We would love to come back here one day! Thank you for providing an amazing experience for our family!

Great house for larger group, excellent property management company

House was great for our group of 11 (6 adults & 5 teenagers), but Moving Mountains is easily the best property management company we've rented from on a ski vacation. The amenities offered to guests made the trip that much better, especially the free shuttle into town.

Best stay!

We stayed at this property ten years ago, and it was so fun to return with larger families. The home is so well-stocked and the perfect layout for large families. The kids loved their stay in the loft area, and we loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Mornings outside along the creek were so peaceful, and nights around the fire pit were so fun. We love staying in Blue River with Breck so close and hiking across from the home. Best of both worlds!
