The "Zydeco House". Quaint 76 old year renovated in 2021, 2 br, 2 ba, home located in the heart of Breaux Bridge historic district. Come sit, relax, and enjoy morning coffee on our front porch or sitting area viewing the backyard. We named our home after purchasing it from a "Zydeco dancer" from Washington State.
Put on your dancing shoes or walk the streets of downtown to visit veterans park, library, antique shops and restaurants for great food, fun and much more.......

We have stayed in VRBOs through the United States and this unit is, by far, the best we have ever rented! The home was spotless upon arrival, impeccably furnished and had all the comforts of home. Angel and Buz were wonderful, gracious hosts and very responsive and informative regarding the places to see and things to do in the area. Location was great and only a 3-4 block walk to downtown and restaurants. The eclectic mix of cultures provided some of the best cuisine we have ever tasted. We stayed for 30 days and had superb weather and something to see or do new everyday. We cooked at home many nights, as we prefer lunches out rather than dinner and the kitchen cookware, dishes and utensils met our needs wonderfully. In addition Angel and Buz provided a gas grill which we used frequently. This is absolutely a five star, or higher, property.

Peaceful in town spot

We enjoyed the Zydeco House for a Thanksgiving stay. A quiet and peaceful little neighborhood tucked within walking distance to the historic downtown. We were greeted upon arrival by Buz who familiarized us with the home and area and his dad’s amazing survival story. We felt right at home. The kitchen was stocked with all we needed for our stay. We slept well in the comfortable beds. We hope to return to Zydeco House to spend more time in this friendly and unique part of Louisiana. Thank you Buz and Angel!

Great place

This is a great house at a perfect location. It is just blocks away from downtown Breaux Bridge so we walked to explore downtown. The house is well stocked and maintained. Our hosts went the extra mile to make sure we were settled and informed about the town. Buz greeted us and helped us get acquainted with the house. My friend and I really enjoyed the Zydeco house. It was charming, spotless & well appointed (although we basically just slept there and didn’t have time to bask). Angel was a gracious host and even offered to let us stay a bit to wait out a big storm. We would definitely return next time we are near Breau Bridge or Lafayette and I highly recommend it!.

Great stay in Breaux bridge

The hosts thought of everything. Pantry was stocked and many incidentals in the cupboards if needed. The renovation of this house was really well done, there’s a little office and laundry, and a small area adjacent where you can get away from the action. Two bedrooms with very comfortable mattresses. Angel was a great host and very accommodating, we immediately felt at home. There’s lots to do in the area, great food and music and cultural events. Highly recommend.
