New to VRBO, lots of 5* reviews on another site. Very scenic, relaxing and private. Top floor(one easy flight up) with vaulted ceilings. we are the closest resort to SD City < 5 min, 15 min to Branson Strip. Beautiful views of Ozark Mts &/or Table Rock Lake from the totally private back deck & all windows. Close path to lake. Just out front is in season outdoor pool, tennis courts & playground. Located in The Cove Resort in Indian Point. Fishing, boating, hiking all right here and nearby. Enjoy all the area attractions. Something for all! Located in The Cove at Indian Point previously known as Eagles Nest Resort at Indian Point.
The space
The extra privacy comes from being a top unit, one short flight of stairs up and no building next door, just trees, birds and nature! We are also a much quieter unit than the lower units. We have a washer&dryer for your use, as well as detergent. The large deck along the entire back is completely secluded. Nature views from every window. The condo has been totally remodeled. The beds are oriented to give the very best views of sunrise/sunset. Clothes washer & dryer. There’s a front porch where you can watch the activity at the nearby pool or the kids on the playground, tennis or basketball court. During Christmas time you can hear the Silver Dollar City Christmas Parade Music from the front porch. The Silver Dollar City rollercoaster can also be seen from Woodpecker Lane, just a very short stroll from our condo. Right past our building's charcoal grill, on the left of our unit, there's a path to the cove, that leads to the lake. Many of the trails here are marked - enter past Building #17, look for the signs right to the lake, left to the waterfall. There is everything you need to be active - basketball, tennis racquets/balls, folding chairs for lake side, lots of yard games and deck games. There are also plenty of magazines & books for the less active time. Enjoy the full cable tv - if you can find any free time to watch. Something for everyone to enjoy here! We do not allow any parties of any kind, including bachelor or bachelorette, gatherings. The condo and both decks are fire coded for seven people.There is a camera on the front porch for your safety.

If you are bringing a boat please mention to Brett at Deer Run Grocery that you are a guest at Eagles Nest Resort, and he will give you special pricing on boat parking ($20 a night) as trailers are not allowed to be parked on our property

Even Better Than Expected

Even before we arrived the host was very helpful and communicative --- prompt to answer questions and great details for our upcoming trip. The condo is located in a pleasant, family-oriented community; a little too chilly for us to enjoy the pool but all facilities looked well maintained. The condo was in exceptional condition, updated and very well cared for. Our host had it stocked with all of the extra gear and supplies that we could have needed which was a huge bonus since we flew in as opposed to driving. The condo was very clean with comfortable furniture and a well stocked kitchen! I especially liked that she even supplied luggage racks which made it easier to manage our suitcases. The outdoor deck was inviting and we really enjoyed having our coffee or wine out there. The walk to the lakeside does require water shoes or sandals due to the rocky path and shoreline --- good tip from the host! She provided plenty of brochures and suggestions (put together in the condo) for enjoying the local area which was a big help for choosing our hikes. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

A beautiful weekend getaway

This was our 2nd time renting this condo and it was amazing as always. The host is so friendly and kind. The views are absolutely breathtaking and it really is one of the best condos in the resort. The cost is comparable to the hotels near downtown Branson but this condo is much more secluded. We were surrounded by nature and were able to get some amazing pictures of the local wildlife. We will stay here every time we come up. The kitchen was a great thing to have for my early rising children! I was able to make breakfast without waking the rest of the family and we ate on the balcony. The huge washing machine was also a great plus because I was able to do all our laundry in one load, when we spontaneously decided to stay an extra night. My husband calls it out home away from home and our kids call it our other house. It was a great weekend. Thank you so much, Carol and Phillip.

5 Star Condo, 5 Star host

The condo was absolutely gorgeous, impeccably clean, and has an amazing view. We visited in December and had a nice shot of the lake from the balcony, however the tree line might impede that in the summer. There are trails leading down to the lake for fishing and swimming! The host was just as wonderful, quick to reply and friendly. The condo is well equipped for a family with kids. It has puzzles and board games and a nice TV as well as plastic dishes and even sippy cups! My middle boys shared the pull out couch and my toddler slept on the loveseat. My daughter had the smaller bedroom and was giddy about having a desk for her laptop and drawing stuff. The kitchen is well stocked and the condiments came in handy. Even the bathroom is well stocked. There is a Walmart close by, about 5 minutes away. A few things to mention that are completely out of the host's control: - Getting to the condo requires you to take the same route to get to Silver Dollar City, which can cause a ton of traffic trying to get back to the condo. It's only about 15 minutes from the Branson strip but getting back to the condo in the middle of the day took an hour, due to the traffic caused by Silver Dollar City. So consider that when you're planning on visiting during the summer months. The condo is in an incredible location so it wasn't too much of a bother. - The condo does not have good soundproofing and you will absolutely hear your neighbors and their TVs. There's nothing the host can do about this and the views were amazing. We aren't used to apartment/condo living so it was a little annoying for us. Outside of those issues, we love this condo and are considering renting it every time we visit the Branson area.
