If historical sites are of interest Hadrian's Wall and Lanercost Priory are both within a short drive. The Lake District is just over an hours drive away as is Newcastle with its cosmopolitan night life and the Metro Centre at Gateshead for all your designer brand shops.

This characterful, spacious cottage offers luxurious accommodation converted from part of a Grade II listed barn with granite worktops and solid oak doors.

The upside down accommodation has oil central heating and comprises: Open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room with a log burning stove, a 50" TV with home cinema surround sound system and a DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer. Double doors give views to the beautiful fells and lead out to an enclosed garden complete with a jacuzzi hot tub. Luxury bedroom with super king size bed which can convert to twin beds with LCD TV's and iPod docking station and has M2 disabled access, en-suite shower room with hand basin and WC.

There are 2 luxury ground floor bedrooms with can be made up as super king size beds or twin beds on request with LCD TV's and iPod docking stations, one with an en-suite shower room with hand basin and WC and the second with an en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, hand basin and WC.
