Welcome to "The Mellow Manatee" – a spacious retreat that sleeps 16! This haven features 6 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, including a luxurious primary suite with ensuite bathroom and vast walk-in shower. Two kitchens, two living areas, and rec room provide ample space for relaxation. The backyard oasis boasts a pool and putting green . With plenty of parking, water views, and the chance to spot manatees just across the street, your getaway awaits! PET FRIENDLY

Creek on the side of the year which leads out to waterway and bay. You can fish right outside the front yard and also one of the favorite spots to view manatee!

You will be in the perfect location in Palma Sola Park which is 5 miles or 10 mins to Manatee Beach and 11 mins or 6 miles to Bradenton Beach. 5 miles or 10 mins to IMG Academy. This neighborhood is bike-friendly and close to Robinson Preserve, grocery, and shopping.

We welcome up to 2 low-shedding dogs ($30/night per pet). Just follow our simple pet policy to ensure everyone enjoys their stay.

PET POLICY: Pets must be preapproved. If you or a fellow guest brings an unapproved pet, please give us a call immediately. If you fail to give us a call, and we find out about your pet after you leave, you will be charged a minimum $350.00 fine.If you have been approved to bring your dog(s):

‱ Must be completely house trained and potty outside (no puppy pads). Must be at least 1 year old (no puppies)
‱ Never allowed on furniture or beds.
. Never allowed in pool or putting green.
‱ Must be leashed when going outside.
‱ Pick up their waste outside and dispose of properly
‱ Must be kenneled in a crate while away and cannot bark or whine while away.
‱ Current on flea and tic treatment.
‱ $30.00 per night, per pet fee required


*We are located in a residential neighborhood so please observe quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. We want to continue to share our property so this is very important.

**Pool Heat is set to 85 degrees in the colder months; however, if air temps drop below 70 degrees, it can affect pool temp. Therefore, pool temperatures cannot be guaranteed.

**The 2 stall detached garage is not part of the rental and are not accessible to guests.**.Pool is serviced twice a week and service tech enters through back gate. Typically on Monday and Thursdays AM

Perfect family vacation!

This home was just what we were looking for to accommodate a few families for a family reunion. It was very spacious, clean, and well equipped! And the location was just perfect! The host responded to any of our inquiries immediately and was very helpful. If the opportunity arises, we would definitely rent here again in the future.

Spring Break 2025

We stayed at this property for 8 nights. We had 13 of us. The house was just as described. The kids swam their little hearts out. Loved the tv outside by the pool. Thats where the adults hung out when it was the kids bedtime. It was great having 2 washers as well as 2 kitchens. I will say we used the bigger kitchen the most. We loved being able to go out and see the Manatees in the water area.Cindy was great at responding to our questions during our stay and even before our stay.I would stay here again.

Amazing Stay - Above and Beyond

Our stay was absolutely amazing! We had multiple families that included 6 teenage boys and this house didn't disappoint.We spent many evenings cooking big dinners in the roomy kitchen that was equipped with all of the essentials. Most of our time was on the back patio eating dinner, playing in the pool, putting on the green or playing cornhole. I'm not sure who used the putting green the most...the teenagers or the dads!! The game room was a perfect hangout for our boys. They loved the house just as much as we did.The Mellow Manatee is a perfect name for this house. We saw manatees on a daily basis in the canal across the street. One day I was able to see about 10 of them! Our friends did a lot of fishing there. We walked up to the bridge and got some great sunset pictures.The host was terrific! We had a couple of questions when we first got there and she was quick to reply. The location was perfect! We were near many beaches but didn't have to deal with the crowds. You don't have to worry about packing everything because many of the supples were provided - detergent, shampoo, conditioner. Ample parking - we had 5 cars. Beach chairs, beach towels, beach wagon, pool toys. We've stayed at many different VRBO's and this was our favorite! Our week went by way too fast and would love to stay here again!

Family Trip

We stayed at the Mello Manatee for a week with our extended family. The home was a perfect hub for exploring the gulf coast, rain or shine Cindy’s home kept us all very comfortable with plenty of amenities & activities in the house, as well as short drives to nearby indoor and outdoor attractions for the kids. Would definitely recommend the Mello Manatee to any large family looking to spend a fantastic vacation together.

Teen boys soccer trip

The house was fantastic! We had 5 families (11 people total) at the house and there was plenty of room. We were down for a soccer tournament and the place was a short distance to IMG academy (5 miles, 10-12 min away). The pool, putting green and game room were perfect for the boys to hang out in. Plenty of tvs to watch sports. Spacious main kitchen. Big outside table to eat by the pool and have a game on the tv. Plenty of amenities for us to cook meals. Overall, this was perfect for our group.

Family getaway

Loved the property! Heated pool and game room were a vacation saver, as we were here during the cold spell and several outdoor activities were canceled. Loved that the beds were actually comfortable beds, not futons or cots. Hostess was prompt and gracious when contacted. Highly recommended.

Spring Break 2024

You must rent this home! Nine of us thoroughly enjoyed this incredible property with something for everyone. We swam, putted, played Donkey Kong, ate really well (kitchen and grill are awesome), made trips to AMI, close to golf, beaches and shopping, fished and watched the manatees. So many memories were made. Our trip went by too fast. We’ll definitely be back!

Expansive multi family property

This is a beautiful, clean and well equipped multi family vacation property. The kitchen/living room leads right into the pool patio area, making the core hub of the home for all guests feel very expansive. We spent just as much time out on the patio as in the kitchen. The attached guest house is a wonderful space with a beautiful mini kitchen. We had an infant on this last trip and it was helpful to have a quiet retreat there for both baby and mom. We flew in from out of state, so it was super helpful to have ample beach supplies, including beach towels! If traveling during a busy time of year, be sure to leave the house for the Anna Maria Island beaches no later than 9am and leave the beach no later than 3pm to avoid gridlock traffic over the bridges. I would also highly recommend taking advantage of grocery store delivery options! With less time in the grocery stores, we enjoyed vacation shopping in places like Lido Key. Saint Armand Circle at night is lovely with live music on every corner. The Robinson Nature Preserve was nice to enjoy on the days that were too windy to be on the beach. The John Ringling Museum is an absolute must! There is so much to see there. Be sure to start early! We enjoyed walking right out the front door to see the local manatees swimming and eating in the bay. A beautiful trip. There is a lot to see and do in this area without it feeling like a vacation town. Enjoy!
