Balsam Lake Cabin has everything needed to make you feel at home in the perfect lakeside retreat

Bedroom - Main level: Queen Bed + Lofted Single Bed, lake view
Loft - Upper level: Two Single Beds + Two Single Trundle beds (note floor space is limited so only one trundle bed can be pulled out at a time)
Steps/ladder to the sleeping loft are steep, please watch your step!

Wooded yard gives the feel of retreating deep into the forest with sweeping views of the lake from the deck and firepit through so you are able to enjoy privacy while you delight in the quiet of the beautiful cabin, decks and yard!

Kayaks, paddleboat and life jackets are provided so you can enjoy the peace of Balsam Lake

The Entire Cabin and amenities are included. The large dock is available for docking your own boat or use our canoe or kayaks to explore the lake. Some life jackets are provided. Please exercize caution when on and near the water. We do not accept liability for any accidents while enjoying the lake.

Please make yourself at home! You will have easy access with a keypad for self check-in.

I give guests plenty of space to relax and unwind, but I’m always available if you need anything.

If there`s anything that could make your stay more comfortable, just let me know—my goal is for this space to feel like a true escape and retreat. I’m available anytime for emergencies, and during regular hours for any non-urgent questions or issues.

It’s super helpful to have good contact info for someone staying at the house, just in case I need to reach out with important updates or to resolve something quickly. If we ever need to stop by, I’ll do my best to let you know ahead of time and will always keep any disruptions to a minimum.

Balsam Lake Cabin is located in a peaceful & quiet lake community. All guests staying at the home must be considerate of others in the neighboring area. Please drive slowly take care with the road that runs through our neighbors` properties in several locations.

Please note: the loft sleeping space is open to the main room of the cabin and accessed by a ladder. The bathroom has a shower only, the shower is fairly cozy and may not be comfortable for some guests.

Absolutely no pets of any kind - Due to severe family allergies, we cannot host pets of any kind, including assistance animals, but are happy to help find alternate accommodations at one of the other amazing properties that we manage if you do have an animal as part of your group

Please be sure to review all house rules when booking and upon arrival at the house - additional rules may be noted in the house manua! The home is located in a peaceful & quiet lake community. All guests staying at the home must be considerate of others in the neighboring area. Noise disturbances will not be tolerated.(quiet hours are between 10pm-7am)
Extra guest fees will be charged if more than noted guests stay the night as cleaning/laundry costs go up

Please remove shoes when you enter the house and leave in entry area or next to the patio door
Please return all furnishings to their original positions
Use only firewood that is provided or firewood you purchase. ABSOLUTELY NO cutting of firewood on the property or adjacent properties is allowed.
No burning of trash or any other materials besides firewood.
Keep all outdoor fires within the fire ring and no more than five feet tall.
We love having your entire group stay. Please be be aware of safety around the lake as well as some cleaning supplies under each of the sinks.
Any game or fish cleaning must be done outdoors, please thoroughly clean up after yourself and double bag and freeze any guts etc until you check out - violations will result in a $200 penalty to cover additional cleaning costs
Please DO NOT flush anything except toilet paper down the toilet
No cooking oil down any drains
Smoking is allowed outdoors take care to dispose of any smoking related refuse responsibly OUTDOORS - a $200 penalty will be charged for violations or debris discovered and disposed of by our cleaning crew
