Superbement situé avec beaucoup d'espace pour six personnes pour se détendre dans le confort. Vue imprenable sur la vallée depuis le pont de la véranda et à seulement trente minutes à pied pour atteindre la baie de la mer du village et ses commodités ou pour faire de la randonnée / du vélo dans le parc national d'Exmore.
Le lodge comprend une chambre double avec douche et télévision. La chambre double a deux lits de 3 pieds; les deux chambres ont beaucoup de rangement. Il y a une chambre avec lits superposés avec une vue magnifique. Salle de bain partagée avec baignoire et douche et sèche-serviettes. Grande cuisine / salle à manger et salon avec beaucoup d'espace.
Il y a un parking pour deux voitures et comprend un jardin gazonné autour de la plupart du lodge et une terrasse avec une table et des chaises en plein air.
Lors de votre séjour dans ce lodge, vous ne serez qu'à quelques minutes à pied de Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park. Dans cet hébergement, vous profiterez de prestations de choix comme un centre de fitness et une laverie.

We enjoyed a pleasant and comfortable stay at Apple Tree Lodge. The lodge was very clean with comfortable living space and beds, powerful shower in bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. Lovely views and peaceful.A great, convenient base to explore North Devon. We particularly loved Woolacombe beach and ‘Watersmeet’ on Exmoor.

Lovely place. Very clean and comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen. I would highly recommend, but I was surprised to be asked to strip the beds before leaving. Maybe I’m old school, but I expect to leave a place clean and tidy, not start doing the actual house keeping when I’ve paid for somewhere.

The location was ideal to visit the North Devon coast - which suited us as I wanted to go to Croyde Bay. The lodge was quiet with lovely views. The lodge provided everything we wanted or could have needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

Summer Holiday

We had a lovely stay in Apple Tree Lodge, its in a great location to explore North Devon, and we even ventured into Cornwall! The Lodge was very well equipped and had lots of space for our family of six. Caroline and Jon were great hosts and I would happily recommend staying here!

We stayed for 5 weeks and had an amazing time, loved every minute! So relaxing. Definitely recommend doing some meditation or Yoga with Caroline.

Very nice cottage

We had a very pleasant stay in the cottage. It was clean and comfortable and a perfect place for exploring the beautiful area. While we did not personally meet the owners, the written communication was always quick and kind and helpful. Definitely recommended.

Peaceful location, cosy accommodation

The property is up on the hill with a wonderful view. The accommodation was roomy, well appointed, clean and welcoming. The town/beach is about half hour walk but there are a few shops (bakery & supermarket) about halfway. A lovely stay, thank you.

Lovely stay with great views and beach

We had a good break with plenty to see and do in and around Combe Martin. The lodge was clean, spacious and the beds and bedlinen were very comfortable. The nearby Co-op was a bonus. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful. The views from the sundeck were marvellous and the peace and quiet, broken only by owls hooting, was wonderful. We would come again!

quiet and comfortable

The Lodge was perfect for our stay. It was clean, quiet and comfortable and extremely dog friendly which made a relaxing week a possibility. It is a great base for visiting sites like Ilfracombe, Lynton and Valley of the Rocks, whilst Combe Martin gives easy access to the coastal path. The new Co-op at the bottom of the lane is a big bonus too if you are self caterers like we were. We had a lovely week!

Peaceful lodge, great views

Really appreciated the ramped access, the lodge is at one level. Suited us well as our son has limited mobility. Co-op just down the lane was great, we went everyday. We had a lot of rain but the terrace seating must be lovely in the summer. We still appreciated the incredible views from there, we just didn’t sit out. There were four of us staying and the living area was very comfortable.

Perfect, loved it!

We had a short break for 2 nights over christmas day, There was a Christmas tree and lights put up for us as well as some welcome gifts left for our arrival. The lodge was spotless, well equipped and warm! There was 6 of us including my 83year old nan who has mobility issues and there was no problems at all The view was fab you could hear the church bells in the distance as well as one morning you could hear the wolves howling from the nearby zoo! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay the lodge was just perfect in every way, Thankyou so much

Amazing

We stayed for 1 week and oh I wish id booked 2 ( never wanted to leave really). It was amazing, the property, the location, the views it had it all. Its far from Combe Martin beach with its shops, pubs and restaurants which we did frequent numerous times. The property has everything you need for the perfect stay, we didn't cook but everything was there, the beds where comfy, the living area was very spacious and immaculately clean throughout. We will be back our family really enjoyed the accommodation. Thank you Caroline for everything and the chocolates were a big hit too

Lovely spot

It was the perfect spot for us - two couples with three dogs. Great for exploring a beautiful part of the country and although the weather wasn’t the best we made the most of the stunning surroundings The description of the property was very accurate and we were well aware the ‘road’ leading up to the property was very uneven. Although when driven carefully at slow speed we had no problem. Inside was welcoming and had everything we needed, the balcony must be lovely when the weather allows!! Overall we had no complaints about our stay apart from the decking was very slippery leading down to the car parking. Would recommend a stay here.

Beautiful views

We stayed for 4 nights in September. The property had pretty much everything we needed for a short stay. It’s nicely tucked away down a back road, however it’s not the best road so you’ll need decent ground clearance. Positives: Views Space - good size as it was only two of us staying, would have been different if there was 6 people Location- short drives to some beautiful places Value for money Negatives: Harsh lighting in the main rooms Noise- there was an hour long drum lesson after we arrived and the lawns were mowed with a petrol lawn mower in the middle of our stay, coming right up to the property and decking. Overall I would recommend this place this place.

Good value in good location

Combe Martin is very pretty and the property is well located, only a short walk from some nice local pubs. Can particularly recommend the Pack of cards, which has a garden and adventure playground for kids. I didn't try walking into town as the kids were too small. The property is very clean and tidy and as described on the listing. I got a bit confused by the recycling, but hope we got it right. Only real downside is the state of the access road, this did cause some problems as one car has low ground clearance and the other was a van that slipped easily on the corner. Fine really , but just worth being prepared for some handling!
