Extremely disappointed with our stay here. The room was not properly cleaned â there were visible stains on the carpet, tissues carelessly stuffed into the holder, and unfortunately, visible hair in the shower tray. The bathroom floor also had bits of dirt stuck to the tiles
There was also a loose electrical/phone wire box next to the door, which didnât feel very safe. We even found used milk sachets mixed in with the fresh ones â not what youâd expect, even at a budget hotel.
Parking overnight costs ÂŁ10, even though itâs not gated nor in a garage. It was simply in front of the hotel within the compound. On-street parking directly in front of the hotel is only chargeable from 9am to 5pm anyway, so you could park free of charge overnight.
Thereâs no air conditioning or fridge in the room, and noise travels easily â we could hear children two rooms down quite clearly.
At checkout, another guest in front of us mentioned how different the hotel looked compared to the bright, modern photos on Hotels.com. The actual building and rooms felt grey and gloomy â we couldnât agree more.
Overall, this stay didnât live up to expectations and I wouldnât return.
The room was very tired. My bedside light didnât work, the plug in the sink got stuck so the water wouldnât drain away, the shower screen door wouldnât shut properly so water was going everywhere, there was a Pringles wrapper on the floor so not too sure how thoroughly the rooms are cleaned.
You also have to pay for parking, which is ÂŁ10. Had I have known this? I wouldâve stayed at a better rated hotel for the same price when I take into account the price of parking.
I didnât thereâs no less than 1000 cigarette butts scattered on the floor outside the hotel entrance.
I have no idea how this hotel is a Radison.
Overall the hotel was quite good. Staff were friendly. The main negative was that it was very noisy; you could hear tv from neighbouring room, people walking around room above and doors banging. Also, outside our room was a radiator which was very noisy (gurgling/moving water) for about 2 hours from 10pm to just after midnight
Upon arrival the welcome was somewhat frosty and many of the facilities were not open for use, bar and lounge area etc
The building and decor is tired and could do with some tlc.
Shower/bathroom was tiny and no hot water after leaving it running for a good 5 mins.
Bed was rock hard and not a good nights sleep. Breakfast was cold and not enjoyable.
Late night oking and actually wished I hadn't bothered. The rooms look like someone has taken a unsu d bact if black paint and used it thoughoutvtge building. The safe wouldn't work, and they tried to charge me ÂŁ10 for overnight parking.
The staff here were very helpful. The decor is a bit tired and the rooms bland. The most difficult thing was the ridiculously tiny shower room with the smallest shower cubicle and basin in the world! Totally inadequate
Very nice hotel, well presented rooms with great amenities. The only downside was parking costs for hotel guests and limited dining. The staff were excellent as always and facilities very clean
Very nice decor in the downstairs lounge for guests and the dining area. Staff were also very professional and pleasant. However the downside was cleanliness of the room, there were small stains on the headboard, the coffee and tea had not been refilled and the towels seemed very thin and overused.
The staff were friendly, checking in where easy, but I would say the general condition of the property is poor.
Windows, curtains duty floor boards felt uneven, the ceiling had damp.
The shower were clean but very very small.
