The house was perfect for our girls weekend to visit Salem! It was clean and comfortable with plenty of space and bedrooms for our a large group. The host was fantastic, very responsive and accommodating. We had inclement weather during our stay and Jenny was quick to communicate with us and provide snow removal. Would recommend this stay!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home, it was short and we wish we had more time to enjoy it. We were able to all be together and not on top of each other, so everyone had space. Our host Jenny made sure everything was ready for us and checked up as soon as our stay was over. If you have an opportunity this host, property and area is a MUST visit!

Five stars! The property was beautiful but the highlight was definitely the hosts. They were easy to reach out to and very thoughtful leaving instructions all over the house in case you are confused about anything!! very attentive while also giving us a lot of privacy . will definitely be booking again :)

Jenny was very prompt in responding to my questions as well as being friendly and accommodating. The house met our needs for the most part. Layout downstairs was a little awkward for a house that sleeps 14. Plenty of space and most of the beds were comfortable. We were overall happy with our stay however there were many easy fixes that would have made our stay better. Things that could be improved- 1. Low on cleaning supplies (only two dishwasher pods. Low on dish soap) 2. Dusty/Dirty counters, lamps, window sills. Cleaned them all when we got there and the cleaning towels were black 2. Used bars of soap in the bathrooms 3. Kitchen had some basics but we’ve never stayed in a house with less kitchen supplies. Some nice pots and pans, but didn’t have basics for preparing a meal like measuring cups, basic spices, serving dishes. Nice set of knives. Felt like a random selection of items they had laying around rather than a thought out plan to stock a kitchen. Expected more dishes and mugs for a house this size. Felt like a a beautiful well loved house turned into a rental using leftover bits and pieces, including the decor and furniture. Kitchen island counter not attached to the base which caused a few close call injuries. 4. Lots of storage space but side counters cluttered with games and random first aid supplies. 5. Could not use the couches because they were low and hard to get out of. Only mention these things to help improve the space, not to complain. Thank you.

This is a lovely property just as portrayed on the VRBO site. The rooms are huge— a welcome change after hotel rooms! The house is light & bright & loved the bathroom adjacent to the double queen room. Flooded with sunlight, two sinks, piles of fluffy white towels, an enlargement mirror & such comfortable beds!! Kitchen had everything needed. Would definitely stay here again! Hoping front door locks will be made more user friendly:)Town of Marblehead was a welcome relief from the crazy busy Salem!

Girls trip to Salem and this house was a perfect fit for all of us to enjoy. Great location to drive into the train station and park for the day while exploring the city. Also a very uber friendly location. House was mostly clean. Couches could use a clean if animals are there from previous guests. We had someone will allergies and she would get stuffed up when sitting on the couches and you could see some animal hair. Beds were all comfortable. One room does not have a door and is right off the entry way so I would keep that in mind if guests would want more privacy but we had no problem with that. Great outdoor space. Great communication from Jenny. We ordered dinner in from Fresca Pizza and Pasta one night and it was great. We also ordered from Amores Mexican Restaurant, which was also amazing. I would note that if you are placing a delivery order to give them the address to the church. It tells you that you are at the house when you are on the road in the back (we also ran into this when coming in to the VRBO but were able to figure it out).

The house was perfect! It was my family’s first time in Salem and the location of this house were perfect for all modes of transport. The longest time it took us to get home was 15 minutes and that’s only because of traffic during the Halloween season.

Great location - very close to attractions, large home, loved the kitchen area. Note that one of the half baths is in the basement which is locked. There are actually 3 full baths and 1 half bath accessible to guests, not 4.5 as listed.

The house is very spacious. The bedrooms had sparse furnishings, but living room, kitchen, and dining room had plenty of seating. Overall, the house was wonderful for our party of 6. Communication was great with the owner, and prompt response to any issues.

Great host -- very communicative. Large, comfortable house with many amenities and a fantastic kitchen. We brought in a private chef for a special meal after a memorial service and appreciated the large dining room table that accommodated all twelve of our family members (only five of us stayed at the house, but there would have been plenty of room for almost everyone!). Perfect location and very easy to get around.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The house was large, clean and cozy. The beds were so comfortable and we loved having all the bathrooms. The house was very conveniently located within walking distance to the beach and town of Marblehead and a very quick drive to Salem.

The house is very roomy with plenty of space for sleeping. The beds, however, are uncomfortably firm. A nice mattress topper on the beds would be appreciated. And for the number of people that can sleep in the house, there is a lack of seating in the living room. The freezer does not always shut tightly, and all the ice was melted and refrozen into solid blocks. And the recycling hadn't been emptied before our stay.Thank you for your hospitality with access to the garage and for your help with locking the house.

Potential is there!

Excellent location, very clean and spacious. A few things we mentioned to the hosts for future consideration. There was no glassware at all, cups for coffee but nothing else. Limited cooking pans or skillets or large plates for food etc. Beds were very good but somewhat hard mattresses. TV area needed some additional furniture, a coffee table and some other chairs. Also, no cable options for TV viewing, limited local channels..
