Location:

This historic Italian castle is set within eight hectares of enclosed parkland, part of a large Tuscan estate in the Mugello valley only 38km from Florence. Within the wider estate, there is a country resort and spa with a tennis court that guests can use alongside a restaurant serving authentic Tuscan cuisine based on local organic produce. In the summer months, meals can be served outdoors on the atmospheric terrace.


The small town of Borgo San Lorenzo is just over a 5-minute drive away with a variety of restaurants, shops and a train station with departures to Florence (taking 40 minutes). Another highlight of the area is medieval Scarperia e San Piero (8km), well known for its artisan knife shops, the beautiful Palazzo dei Vicari and an 18-hole golf course. Just outside Scarperia, the Mugello racing circuit is a must for car-racing fans. Nearby Lago di Bilancino offers seasonal kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding alongside beautiful walks and nature.

In 2026 The villa is available to rent as either a 6-bedroom or a 10-bedroom property. When the 6-bedroom option is booked, the remaining four bedrooms will be closed and not accessible to guests. Upon arrival, guests will be able to choose which six bedrooms they wish to use during their stay.

Spa, beauty and massage services should be booked in advance. They are included in rentals rates. Please also note the recommended age of entry to the spa area is 16+.
