Welcome to our beautifully updated 1820s farmhouse, a hidden gem and birdwatchers` dream nestled between the picturesque Adams and Wade Ponds. This historic home initially belonging to the prominent Boothbay Adams family is now available for you to experience its timeless charm. Surrounded by meadows and conservation land, our home offers breathtaking views of nearly private Wade Pond—a place so serene you may never want to leave.
A Blend of Vintage Charm and Modern Comforts:
Our five-bedroom, three-bathroom home has retained much of its vintage charm while embracing modern amenities. The farmhouse offers two cozy bedrooms with king beds, a third bedroom with twin bunk beds, and a spacious loft with a queen bed, two twin beds, a downstairs bedroom with a twin bed, and a comfy seating area with a TV. For your little ones, we have provided a pack `n play, highchair, toys, books, and more.
After a day of exploring, unwind in the 1st floor den complete with a 75” smart TV - perfect for family movie nights or catching up on your favorite shows. The fully stocked, newly renovated eat-in kitchen makes meal prep a breeze, whether you’re whipping up a gourmet dinner or simply enjoying a cup of coffee as you take in the pond views. Want to dine al fresco? Fire up the propane grill on the large back deck, which also doubles as a second lounge area to soak in the stunning scenery.
Endless Outdoor Adventures:
The front yard has a flat grassy area perfect for lawn games, while the outdoor fire pit in the back invites you to extend your evening under the stars. For water enthusiasts, we provide a kayak and canoe to explore Wade Pond right from your backyard or the pristine Adams Pond just across the street.

Please note that like many historical New England homes, this home is NOT equipped with air conditioning. The owners have installed window AC in the 3rd floor loft area that can get a bit warmer as the heat rises, but overall the home stays quite comfortable.
IMPORTANT:
Instead of placing a security deposit hold on your card, we include a small, non-refundable $50 damage waiver in the reservation total—so your funds remain available throughout your trip. This Waiver covers damages up to $500.
Please note: Guests who bring unauthorized pets to the property without prior approval will incur a $500 fee and may be asked to leave.
• Quiet hours are 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM. Please respect our neighbors at all times.
• Maximum occupancy is as shown on the listing. Additional guests are subject to $25/person/night and may result in cancellation if excessive.
• A mandatory, non-refundable damage waiver is included in your reservation total in place of a security deposit. Guests remain responsible for damage exceeding coverage or resulting from negligence or rule violations.
• Pets are not allowed without prior approal and non-refundable pet rent.
