“The Fairy Woods Cabin” is located in the heart of the High Country. This beautiful 3 level 2 bedroom with sleeping loft, 2.5 bathroom cabin sits high on the mountain inside the beautiful Mill Ridge Resort community with amenities including tennis courts, heated outdoor swimming pool, the Watauga River and beautiful hiking trails! This cabin offers an ideal starting point for all of your mountain adventures as it is central to all High Country attractions including Grandfather Mountain, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Sugar Mountain, Hawksnest Tubing and Zipline Resort, Beech Mountain, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, the Wilderness Alpine Coaster, Gem Mining, golf courses, hiking, biking, horseback riding, ASU and so much more!!

***Pets are welcome with management approval and each pet, maximum of 2 dogs, has a pet privilege fee of $100 plus tax. All pet owners are required to clean up after their dog’s waste and dispose of it in the proper waste container and dogs MUST remain in control and on a leash at all times while outside in the community.

Main Floor: On the main floor, you have the cozy living room with electric fireplace, Roku TV, dining nook and our fully stocked kitchen with regular coffee maker and a Keurig maker. There is a full bathroom with tub/shower combo on this floor. Enjoy hours of fun with our nook filled with board and card games.

Upper Level: Sleeping Loft: There is a queen size bed, half bathroom and sitting nook.

Lower Level: Travel downstairs, you’ll find the convenient full size washer and dryer. There is a king size bedroom with Roku TV. Travel through this room to get to the small bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds, twin over twin to sleep 4 additional guests (recommended for children). Across from this room is a full bathroom with tub/shower combo.

Outside: Sit and enjoy Mother Nature on our side deck or take advantage of our gas grill to grill your favorite meal. The access has 2 steps from the parking area to the deck for the main entry.

Mill Ridge Resort is an intimate and unique family vacation area just 8 miles from Boone, NC on Highway 105. Endless dining, shopping and stay excursions are all just minutes away. Mill Ridge Resort offers our guests great amenities (weather permitting). “The Fairy Woods Cabin” is surrounded by all the fun and excitement you can imagine. Just minutes away you’ll find all of the local attractions and fun for your entire family and friends.

***3 night minimum for the summer months, MLK weekend, Memorial Day weekend, Labor Day weekend and the entire month of October
***4 night minimum for the Thanksgiving holiday
***7 night minimum for the July 4th week and Christmas/New Year holidays

***No House parties allowed.

As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow, and some foggy days with occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of our homes are accessed by mountain roads, which will be icy in winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means 4-wheel drive, good tires, and chains. It is YOUR responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions. There will be NO refunds, allowances, or date changes resulting from your negligence in this matter.
