Tucked away in a peaceful wooded setting, Weathering Heights is a NEW HOME IN OUR PROGRAM and a classic two-level cabin offering comfort, charm, and a prime location near the best of the High Country. Just 15 minutes from both Boone and Banner Elk, and only 20 minutes from Blowing Rock, you'll enjoy easy access to top attractions including Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Vineyard, High Gravity Adventures, Hawksnest Zipline & Tubing, and more.

Step inside the main cabin to find a warm and inviting great room featuring vaulted, exposed-beam ceilings, leather seating situated around a stacked-stone gas fireplace and mounted TV, a floor-to-ceiling wood interior, and natural light streaming in through skylights. The spacious kitchen is outfitted with high-end stainless appliances, a gas stove and oven built into the center island, and ample counter space for prepping meals. Gather around the wood dining table with bench and end chair seating, or head outside to the wraparound deck with multiple seating areas for morning coffee or evening relaxation among the trees—complete with a gas grill, a large outdoor dining table that seats at least 10, and a stunning custom stacked stone wood-burning fireplace built into the deck and a brand new hot tub.

The fun continues in the game room above the detached garage—a favorite retreat for guests of all ages, equipped with a pool table, shuffleboard, TV with an electric fireplace stand, a high-top board game table, and a large selection of board games. A cozy nook in the loft with a bean bag and bookshelf makes the perfect reading hideaway for kids. This space features a full bathroom with a custom-tiled shower and a sleeping area for four, complete with a queen-size daybed and a queen-size pull-out sofa.

Sleeping Arrangements:
The main level features a king master suite with a private bathroom and TV. Upstairs, you'll find another king bedroom with a TV, a bunk room with a twin-over-queen bunk, twin trundle, and in-room TV, plus a loft nook with a twin-over-twin bunk and a closable curtain for added privacy. These rooms share a full bathroom on the upper level. Combined with the game room, Weathering Heights comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome with your reservation for an additional fee.
Gravel driveway with easy parking for 2 vehicles; can accommodate up to 4 or 5 with some maneuvering.
4WD or AWD is necessary during the Winter months.
