Nice studio in the heart of Bologna historic center, perfect for discovering the main attractions of the city on foot.



The apartment is on the first floor of a building with an elevator and consists of a well-designed single room. It comes with an open-plan kitchen fitted with all amenities including an oven and an espresso coffee machine, a dining table and a queen-size bed.

A bathroom with shower completes the layout.



*Please be informed that the city center is a limited-traffic zone, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the parkings and enjoying the old town on foot.

Bologna is a city of art, culture and trade. The capital of Emilia-Romagna is also known as “Dotta” (erudite), being the oldest university of the West, as “Grassa” (fat) for its gastronomic delights and “Rossa” (red) for the colors characterizing its old town. Its soul is in the medieval old town, one of the biggest in Europe, dotted in taverns, workshops and theaters, characterized by almost 40 km of porticoes. In the city center there is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are the Fountain of Neptune by Giambologna and the Medieval Towers, “Torre degli Asinelli” and “Torre della Garisenda”, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in several museums, art galleries and religious buildings. It is allowed to leave Bologna only after having tried its gastronomic products, among which mortadella, tortellini, ragù alla bolognese while sipping famous DOC wines from the Bologna hills! Rich in exhibitions, fairs and cultural events, Bologna can surprise you in every season.

I stayed here for three nights and it was great! The location was convenient for getting to the train and to the city center. Communication with the property manager was always timely and there were very helpful with everything. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay in Bologna!

One wonderful month

The property is wonderfully situated to walk to every part of Bologna….and we did walk it. The apartment was comfortable and quiet. It is a short walk to the station, should you wish to visit nearby towns. It is a foodie paradise…and all within walking distance.

The apartment was large and spacious, and well-furnished. Not far from Piazza Maggiore (about a ten minute walk), and also with many restaurants, bars, and a covered market nearby. The traffic noise from via Guglielmo Marconi was very loud, and the neighbours were also quite noisy, with loud TVs late at night. Overall, the apartment could use better sound-proofing.

There was a horrific sewage stench coming from the bathroom that made this stay unbearable. I attempted to request that the person that checked me in communicate the problem. She chose not to do that and the management company did nothing when I brought the issue to their attention. I feel badly for the property owner as the apartment had the potential to be great. Unfortunately, the lack of problem resolution from the whole property management team including the person who checked me in was tragic. She spent less than 3 mins with me prior to having to rush off as she was "double booked". I strong urge no guest book this property without being100% assured it is livable. I had to book another location for my clients to meet me at as the smell made everyone vomit. The worst VRBO experience I have ever had. As a property owner and super host, I know what can be done when guests have issues. Shame on the property manager and guest checkin person. Unacceptable.

Easy checking in to the apartment and communication with the company. Pros- location and air conditioning in high heat, elevator was nice for moving luggage Cons- Sewage smell that was persistent inside the apartment. Maybe coming from toiletUpper shower head was broken and adjustable head did not stay in place so it was very short. It also caused the water to spray out of the shower. The bed was fine but the additional pillows or blankets were not clean as evident of yellow marks and smell of them. bare minimum

Drei herrliche Tage in Bologna

Der als Zwischenstop gedachte Aufenthalt wurde zu einem echten Highlight! Vom Parkhaus RIVA RENO ist man in wenigen Minuten am Quartier. Der telefonische Kontakt auf englisch klappt bestens und der nette weibliche "welcome agent" zeigt die helle, geräumige Wohnung. Am frühen Abend geht's gleich in diesem wunderschöne Altstadt, ebenfalls in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Absolutes Highlight ist der Hauptplatz bei nächtlicher Beleuchtung! Da es so viel zu sehen gibt, sind drei Tage optimal. Das einzige Manko der Wohnung ist der laute Verkehrslärm von der Straße. Der macht aber letztlich nichts aus,denn untertags ist man eh unterwegs und nachts schläft man, ganz erledigt von den tollen Eindrücken des Tages, bestens in den äußerst bequemen Betten. Auch schlechteres Wetter würde in Bologna dank der insgesamt fast 40 Kilometer herrlicher Arkaden nicht stören.

Central for everything

Great place central for both train station and walking into the centre of Bologna. The apartment had everything that you need for a short stay and was really nice. But as mentioned to the company that manages the property, the neighbour 3 times out of the 5 days that I stopped they were playing very very loud music until the early morning, making sleep impossible. (Approximately I was the first to mention this, so must have been unlucky)
