Following is our initial text to owner. "We're a family of 10; grandparents, 2 daughters/spouses & 4 grandaughters ages 4 to 11. We have an annual tradition of spending a week together at a cottage on Lake Huron enjoying fam- ily activities. We hope you will take us as bedroom 2 is perfect for the 4 cousins." In response owner confirmed our booking and we paid. Note our specific reference to bdrm #2. Ameni- ties listed #2 as having 2 double beds. Later learned it only had 1 double & 1single bed. Owner confirmed mistake in listing. Offered to add a single bed/ cot. On contacting owner 3 weeks prior to stay was told it was too late to add a bed. Owner accepted booking knowing beds to sleep 4 were needed. On arrival found bdrm. 2 now had one bunkbed which was double on the bottom and single on top. The single bed had been removed! We had no bed for 4th child! Also the other 3 bdrms were listed as one having a king & other 2 as having queens. Another 'mistaken' item as 1 of these bdrms actually had a double, rather than a queen. Extremely disappointing. We had youngest child sleep with Mom. Dad slept on family room couch. Also poor air condition-ing.This is a spacious cottage (owner's words) with open concept kitchen, family rm & table for 8; 2 bathrooms/4 bedrooms. AC only small window size unit built into wall in kitchen corner. Bd/bathrooms hot/uncomfortable.Fans supplied for only 3 bdrm. 4th fan came 2 days later along with cutlery as kitchen short on spoons.Won't return.
