Ready to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life? Escape to the serenity of “Sweet Tea and Starlight” where you can relax on the huge, fully screened porch while enjoying a cold drink and beautiful mountain views. Have fun playing in our decked-out game room or watching a movie on the big screen. At night, you’ll be surrounded by the peaceful chirping of crickets and a millions twinkling stars. You’ll feel secluded on our quiet, paved, dead-end street but will still be less than 10 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge.

With three bedrooms and three bathrooms across the three levels, our cabin has plenty of room for your group to spread out. The spacious loft bedroom contains a queen bed, a private bathroom, a desk if you need to stay connected during your trip. It also has a personal screened-in veranda to watch the sun come up while sipping your morning coffee.

The main floor boasts a large open kitchen, living/dining room and big screen TV with Netflix, Sling, and Disney+, perfect for hosting a family movie night. The gas fireplace (Oct.- April) puts out a ton of heat and is perfect for cozying up with a book on a cool night. There is also a well-stocked kitchen, dining table seating for eight and four additional seats at the bar. The main floor also includes the master bedroom with a king bed, an en suite bathroom, and access to the main floor porch.

The enormous screened-in porch doubles the main floor living space and includes room for a family meal, a cozy seating area for drinks, and a giant chess/ checkers board. There is a relaxing hot tub with a waterfall feature and lights and a fire table for enjoying a drink on cooler nights. There are also several anti-gravity chairs where you can kick back and let your stress melt away. The hand-made fire pit in the front yard is perfect for making s’mores and telling stories around the camp fire.

The amazing game room includes a poker/ bumper pool table, an arcade with over 16,000 games, an air hockey table, connect four, and other games to keep your group entertained. The basement area also includes the “Cub Den” bedroom with a queen bed and twin bunk beds, a full bathroom, and a laundry room. There is also a sleeper sofa in the game room to increase the sleeping arrangement options.

Got kids? So do we, and we know how challenging it can be to pack everything they will need on vacation. We provide a pack n’ play, high chair, step stool, kids’ books, and toys to keep your little angels happy. The three bathrooms are shower-only so we also provide a foldable bathtub for little ones.

Bringing a Furry Friend? We have a fenced area outside for pets to play safely and provide a dog bed and bowls.

Our cabin is located in an outstanding location “away from it all” but still only 10 minutes to the unique shops and restaurants, scenic railway, and city park in downtown Blue Ridge. We’re 5 minutes to Bear Claw winery, 10 minutes to Mercier Orchards, and 15 minutes to the Aska Trails Parking area. The private road is paved and easy access with no 4-wheel drive vehicles required (maybe only if there is snow/ice.) The cabin has comfortable parking for 4 to 5 vehicles.
