Mountain Song Lodge is a stunning, luxury mountain home on a large private property that borders federal conservancy land only 6 miles from downtown Blowing Rock. Shopping, restaurants, horseback riding, river/lake access, snow sports, and more are all within fifteen minutes of the house. Hiking trails abound within walking distance of the property, and rivers and lakes are nearby. Price Lake is only 2 miles away, and the Watauga and the New River are within 10 miles.

Mountain Song was custom-built to offer both mountain luxury and low-footprint sustainability and is teeming with custom touches throughout. The property is well-landscaped with native rhododendrons, trees, and other wildflower growth. Poplar Bark accent siding, Rhododendron branch railings, and the native stacked-stone fireplace anchor this elegant home to its Appalachian roots. The main level of Mountain Song Lodge has a spectacular great room with hardwood floors and soaring vaulted ceilings. The great room has leather furniture, a floor-to-ceiling stacked-stone wood-burning fireplace, and an HD Smart TV. Adjacent to the great room is an open dining area with a banquet-style dining table that seats eight (8). The kitchen, located adjacent to the dining area and open to the great room, features a bar-height countertop for additional seating at the bar. The kitchen also boasts leathered granite countertops, custom cabinetry, high-end stainless appliances, and a gas cooktop with extras like a pot filler and a custom ventilation hood. Beyond the kitchen is a mudroom and laundry room, accessible from the garage, with a washer and dryer, a wine fridge, and a desk/workstation. Off the kitchen is a comfortable screened porch with outdoor dining features. The screened porch leads to the rear deck and courtyard, with a gas grill, outdoor seating, a gas fire pit, and a hot tub. All are tucked privately between the house and the natural living border between this property and the bordering conservancy and parkway lands and trails.

There are four sleeping areas in Mountain Song Lodge. The primary king suite is located on the main level and features an HD Smart TV, a walk-in closet, a private front porch, and an impressive full en-suite master bathroom. The bathroom features a huge soaking tub, a custom slate tile shower, and a live-edge vanity counter with "His and Hers" stone vessel sinks. A second, central full bathroom with a tub and shower is adjacent to the second main-level bedroom, which features a Queen bed and an HD Smart TV.

Upstairs and open to the great room below is a large central loft with a gorgeous hand-crafted desk for working remotely, online schooling, or catching up with the rest of the world. On one side of the loft is a huge King bedroom with an HD Smart TV, a comfy sitting area with a Queen sleeper sofa, and a walk-in closet. On the other side of the loft is a full bathroom with a tub and shower and a comfortable additional room with a Queen bed and an HD Smart TV.

An expansive game room/family room is above the garage, accessible through the kitchen and mud/laundry room. This space features vaulted ceilings, comfortable furniture including a daybed and a twin trundle, an eight-foot slate pool table, a large HD Smart TV, and a variety of puzzles and games for guests to enjoy. There is also an upscale infrared sauna for adult guests to enjoy. Children must have an adult accompanying them in the sauna.

Other amenities and comforts include WiFi internet, digital cable TV programming on all six HD Smart TVs, and central heat and Air Conditioning for year-round comfort. Don't forget the unique luxury of direct access to marked hiking trails from the rear border of this property.
A paved driveway and two-car garage welcome you, allowing convenient parking and unloading upon arrival.

Two dogs are welcome with your reservation, with a 50-pound weight limit per pet. Pet fees will apply, and pets are to be kept off furniture and beds. They must be crated or kenneled at all times when left unattended.

** NOTE! Cell phone calls from Mountain Song must be executed by connecting to the house WiFi. The level of cell tower service varies by provider, but there is no service at Mountain Song for at least one national provider.
