I love The Graduate! The rooms are beautifully appointed, the beds are amazing and the location canât be beat!! The staff is always friendly and helpful. HoweverâŠThe only negative this time was our breakfast - the bacon was limp/undercooked, the hashbrowns shouldnât have been called hashbrowns (very nasty) and the scrambled eggs tasted and looked like the kind of fake eggs that are mass produced in sheet pans at lesser hotels. And the three people working within sight of everyone were all scrolling on their phones. Not at all the experience or food Iâve had there before. Two iced coffees and two breakfast orders were $48.
What happened to the days when drinking glasses were provided in hotel rooms? What are we supposed to drink water out of when in the bathroom? A simple glass goes a long way! Once glasses are removed, maid service needs to be requested when youâre staying for more than one night, etc. it starts to feel not as special as it used to. I know this is direction that many hotels are going in, but I donât like it.
No coffee maker in the room, no free coffee offered in the lobby. Had to pay at the restaurant for coffee. Also, hair dryer in the room needs to be replaced.
