Despite its tranquil setting, Milton Abbas boasts excellent road links, so you're never far from a day out. An 8-mile drive away, the handsome Georgian town of Blandford Forum awaits. Here, you can enjoy riverside strolls, browse independent shops, and perhaps sample a pint at the historic local brewery. When the coast calls, you're within easy reach of the dramatic Jurassic Coastline. Spend the day exploring the fossil-rich cliffs of Lulworth Cove (17.5 miles) or soaking up the sun on the golden shores of Sandbanks.
