Oh Happy Days, you have arrived at the Pecan Tree House! The Happiness Ranch in Blanco on the Little Blanco River is home to three charming ranch houses named after Texas Hill Country Trees. The Pecan Tree House will have you doing the Happy Dance on this welcoming front porch to include a porch swing. With 2 bedrooms and 2 baths the Pecan Tree House is perfect for small families or a couples getaway. For larger groups the Oak Tree House and Cypress Tree House are also available for an additional fee. No need for your furry friends to miss out on all the merriment for an additional fee, up to two dogs are welcome to come along*.

Pecan Tree House is a beautifully remodeled home that sits on over 5 acres with majestic oak trees, cypress, trees, and plenty of pecan trees. A large covered front and back porch frame the house offering picturesque views. Inside the home, find an open floor plan with a dine-in kitchen, an abundance of natural light, vaulted ceilings, with reclaimed wood, and barn wood wall accents. The cozy living space offers a great mix of texture and color: a rich leather sofa, fireplace, unique decor and colorful and fun artwork that are sure to bring smiles. The kitchen is fully stocked with stainless steel appliances and all that is needed to prepare family favorites. An added bonus washer and dryer are available for guests to use. The Master Bedroom has a large walk-in closet ,ensuite bathroom with clawfoot tub and shower. The King bed is dressed with luxurious bedding and a tufted leather headboard. A unique rustic tin ceiling frames the room and a private exterior entrance is the perfect place to stargaze with a glass of bubbly. The second bedroom hosts a queen bed with comfortable linens, a small sitting area perfect to relax with a good book. The ensuite bathroom has a walk-in glass shower and plenty of counter space. A private exterior entrance to the back patio is the perfect space to bird watch or enjoy a morning cup of coffee.

Looking for an outing for the day? Blanco has several fun attractions for those wanting to explore the local area. The area is rich in history and has plenty to offer guests. Visit Blanco State Park and enjoy a day of fishing, swimming or hiking. Interested in the Old West, The Buggy Barn has over 140 covered wagons. Real Ale offers guided tours and a taproom tasting experience. Within 30 minutes, enjoy the day exploring Fredericksburg, travel to Wine Road 290 which offers 19 wineries within a few miles of each other. Visit one of Fredericksburg’s two amazing museums: the National Museum of the Pacific War and the Pioneer Museum. During the summer, make sure to stop by a fruit stand and grab some famous Fredericksburg peaches. Spend the day in Kerrville at the Schreiner Park located on 517 acres on the Guadalupe River, where you can swim, rent boats or enjoy hiking trails. The Museum of Western Art and the Pollinator Museum are fun and interesting for all ages. Indulge in one of the fabulous restaurants while listening to local artists’ music. With Wimberley only 30 minutes away, enjoy the delicious restaurants as well as the charming shops at Wimberley Square. Blue Hole Regional Park is also located very close as well as many wineries. If you enjoy hiking, there are many trails in the area as well. Visitors will not be disappointed, as there is plenty to see and do in the Hill Country.
