Welcome to Poets Haven, a peaceful country retreat set on open acreage with classic barn and wide pasture views. Inside, sunlight fills the main living room with tall windows, plus a second cozy sitting area for movies or games. The kitchen and adjacent dining space make meals easy. Bedrooms are calm and comfortable, and baths include a soaking tub and a step-in shower with bench. Enjoy the small deck landing, fenced lane, and plenty of parking. Laundry in home. We want to make sure you have the utmost convenience! You'll be provided an access code to the back entrance prior to check-in. The owners are local, and will be able to be reached by platform messaging during the duration of your stay.

Close to local favorites: Virginia Tech and Lane Stadium are an easy local drive in Blacksburg. Radford University is about 25 minutes by car. Claytor Lake State Park is roughly 35 minutes for boating, beaches, and trails. Downtown Blacksburg dining, shops, and the Huckleberry Trail are also a short drive. Travel times vary with traffic.

All areas of the home and property are open for guests use, except locked doors and garage structure behind the house.

-The main floor of the house is fully accessible with paved access, an entry way ramp, no barrier roll in shower with grab bars and a hand held shower option, a main floor bedroom, and a portable ramp to access an elevated dining area. The kitchen island is a moveable table to increase kitchen access.

-Soaking tub in "master" upstairs bathroom with walk in shower.

-Propane (for grill use):
1. There MAY BE a propane tank available at the house.
2. If you see a tank, you may use it for the grill.
3. If the tank is empty, guests are responsible for refilling it.
4. We DO NOT provide propane refills.
