The Barn at New Wood Farm

On the doorstep of the Black Country yet tucked down a little Lane surrounded by fields with horses.Parking right outside the door in the Lane it’s quiet and peaceful. Cool in summer and cozy in winter. Guests often love our Wurlitzer free to play juke box with records from the 1960’s, 70’s and 80’s. The Lane runs alongside a Roman bridle path that leads down the canal just 2 minutes walk with beautiful scenery, barges and water birds.There is also a fishery along the path about 5 minutes away. We also have a beautiful garden which our guests are free to enjoy from BBQs in summer and making snowmen in winter if the weather allows. (We really loved hearing 2 little Australian children making a snowman at 7.30 in the morning as they’d never seen snow before) If quests wish to join us in the garden for a glass of wine in summer that’s fine, but equally it’s a private quiet space totally seprate.
