Welcome to Rushton Suites! Your beautifully updated private suite includes a queen/king bed, en suite bathroom, large closets, full kitchen, dining area, and well appointed spaces for relaxing! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to feel right at home including dishes, pots and pans, baking sheets, knives, cutting boards, Pam and basic spices. We also provide a drip coffee pot, ground coffee and filters. In addition to your suite, the building offers several outdoor areas where you can enjoy the large trees and lush landscape! Situated in a very safe, walkable area, Rushton Suites is the perfect home away from home in Birmingham!

This beautiful historic building resembles a historic inn. When you walk in the main front door you will be greeted by the shared lobby/foyer with a large staircase which leads up or down. For this particular unit (Unit #2), you will go up the stairs and your unit is on the right. During your stay you will have complete private keyed access to this entire unit with 1 bed, 1 bath, a desk and kitchen and dining area! The lobby and front and back porches are the only shared spaces between all 6 units, feel free to use these but please be mindful of other guests and please respect our quiet hours of 10pm-7am!

We love being here for our guests, but we also love to give them space! We are available by phone at any time of the day. We do not live on the property but live close enough that we can be there quickly if there is an emergency!

This historic home is located in the highly sought after Highland Park area! Just a 2 minute walk to O`Henrys coffee shop, Rojo Birmingham (Latin American Restaurant), and a laundromat! Quick and easy access to University Blvd, Red Mountain Expressway, and I-59!

Street parking in front of the house is unassigned and usually very easy! There is also a parking pad behind the house for additional parking.

We have a strict no smoking policy! Additionally, we do not allow PARTIES/EVENTS/OR GATHERINGS OF ANY SIZE. There are cameras located in public spaces; front porch, back porch and shared hallways only.

1. This is a no smoking unit. SMOKING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Smoking of any substance in the unit or terrace will result with your reservation being cancelled and no refund. There are families staying here, please have respect for others. Its important to know that Airbnbs no smoking policy includes no smoking on the entire property not just inside. Smoking fines and resolutions: -$200 per day smoking fine. -You will also be responsible for any financial losses we incur from leaving the condo smelling like smoke including: - Relocating upset guests to a smoke free environment. - Any losses from having to refund a booking. - Any lawyer fees we incur by enforcing the no smoking policy.
2. The properties public areas are monitored 24/7 with security cameras. Please give us full disclosure of all guests who will be staying. $100 per night fee will be charged for guests that aren`t accounted/paid for in the initial booking. Please don`t make us fine you, we don`t like doing this.
3. No pets allowed
