The Space:
This home truly has all the luxurious touches for the ideal vacation with family and friends. Located just minutes from Big Sky Resort, 23C Heavy Runner Road is a high-quality chalet retreat with elegant, mountain modern finishes, Lone Peak views, and a spacious floor plan. This property features 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms spread over a 2,539 square foot, three-story layout. Vaulted ceilings in the living and dining room, large windows throughout the property, and a gorgeous rock fireplace creates an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Features include radiant floor heating, black stainless appliances, knotty alder doors and trim, beautiful metal accents, high-end lighting, two decks, and plenty of storage space. In addition to multiple walk-in closets in all of the main bedrooms, gear room entry way, the heated one-car garage is perfect for all your gear needs.

The downstairs bedroom has two twin bunkbeds as well as a Smart TV. Also downstairs, there is a full bath with a shower/tub combo and a laundry room. The kitchen is fully outfitted with high-end cooking equipment and includes a chef`s pantry. The living room and dining area has incredible views of Lone Peak, large Smart TV, plenty of space to stretch out and relax, and a half bathroom. The deck off the living room is home to a brand-new hot tub with the best views in town. The master bedroom is also located on the main floor and includes a king bed, walk in closet, and full bathroom. The second deck is off the master bedroom and includes a propane grill perfect aprĂšs ski evenings. Additionally, the third floor has two bedrooms with a king bed and a queen bed, two walk-in closets, and a shared bathroom. This home is just a quick 2-minute drive to the base of Big Sky Resort; with a free bus stop located at the entrance of the complex, everything that Big Sky has to offer is accessible with ease.

We highly recommend that our guests rent a 4x4 vehicle during the winter months (October-May). Please be aware that shuttle services must be booked in advance, and rideshare options like Uber or Lyft are unavailable in the area.

Parking: This unit is allowed 2 vehicles: 1 parked in the garage and 1 in the driveway.

Great condo. Great location. Kitchen was very well stocked. Skiing couldn’t have been better at Big Sky! Only suggestion is for management company to clean up communication a bit.

Best Vacation Rental Ever

This was hands down the best experience we have had at a vacation rental. The location was perfect and close to the slopes, a short drive. Plenty of space for the whole family with an amazing view from the hot tub. Great amenities and fully stocked. Would highly recommend this location to all.

Good size place and close to the mountain. Nice hot tub. Was a reasonable walk to the hill but not an easy walk back. There was a shuttle that you could catch once an hour but we never really used it. Usually just drove the few minutes to the hill or walked.

Good for a short stay

Location: A close drive to the base of Big Sky but do not rely on the shuttle service. You will need a car/suv to get around. Space: The photos are accurate, so we knew our group of 6 would have to spread out between the living room (would of been nice to have a larger sofa and more seating), dining room and kitchen island. Overall, the space has been updated with modern decor, however you can tell some of the furnishings are dated. The place was very clean and beds were comfortable. The host was quick to reply to messages.

Best Place Ever

Beautiful property. 30 second drive to resort, one person even walked home from the mountain one day.Shuttle also available too. Amazing views from living room and hot tub. Beds were great and everything inside was really nice. Definitely want to stay here next time!

The property location was excellent, across the street from Big Sky and 10 minutes to additional stores and restaurants. The property was exactly as pictured, with new appliances, great hot tub, and modern amenities. I’d definitely stay there again.

Great Week in Big Sky

We had a wonderful six days out in big sky in late July with our two young boys. The property is in a great location, has great finishes, and plenty of room to spread out. Some construction next door added some noise, but otherwise a great stay.

Perfect spot!

The location of this property cannot be beat. For teens who were doing bike camp, location was perfect, and for all of us that wanted to walk to the village, the location could not have been better. And the unit is very quiet despite close-in location. The decor was great, layout was perfect for a mom and 5 teens. Everyone had their own space and no one felt cramped. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms and kitchen very well appointed. It was a little warm in July, but property managers promptly delivered fans, and any issues we had (water heater had inadvertently been turned off) were IMMEDIATELY dealt with. I've never had another rental property respond so quickly or deal with issues so efficiently. Definitely one of the best rental experiences I've had, and the best group Whistler accommodation by far.

Awesome stay, but areas of improvement

Amazing location and there we’re stunning views. There was great access to the mountain. The hot tub was amazing. Lighting system was brilliant. Areas of improvement: The cleaning was not finished when we were promised, attractive couch but so uncomfortable and bad placement for views. Could use some hooks in the front hall, no colander and couldn’t figure out how fans worked in the bathrooms. Nit picking but just helping to make little improvements to help everyones stay be as wonderful and the area.

Big Sky skiing

We stayed here with our family when we skied at Big Sky for the first time. Everything was great - the condo is close to the mountain and we drove over, used the free parking and shuttle at the resort. The bedrooms are comfortable (the primary could use some lamps), and there was good space for those who needed to work during the day. There was a full moon over Lone Peak - beautiful, and some nice snow dustings to complement the great skiing! There were a few dirty dishes in the cupboards and a couple of possibly dirty towels in a cabinet. I imagine that is more because of the prior guest than the person who cleaned. I would recommend 4wheel drive. I also would have liked to have some info on the Skyline shuttle?

We really enjoyed the condo and our stay. Very close to Big Sky .

We had a good experience and would stay again. A few issues were that a grill was listed as being available and there was no grill. The hot tub desperately needs steps. We had an accident with a member of our group falling on the ice trying to get out of the hot tub. The door knob to the hot tub was broken. Overall a great vacation and we loved Big Sky Mountain.
