- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.

- AvantStay plows and clears the driveway and one pathway to the front door. We provide shovels for guests to use should they wish to clear paths on any other part of the property.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

Property was clean, check-in/out process was easy, and we loved all the amenities! The location was walking distance from the lake and many other fun places. We would definitely book with AvantStay again and maybe even the same property. Huge thanks to AvantStay for making our trip so great! :)

1st time in Big Bear

Look ok from the outside. Smells funky when you walk in t 1st living room. The kitchen sink smells bad. The place is dusty and needs some TLC (some windows are cracked, the dinner table is chipped off, the garage 1/2 door is hard to close and the walls need to be patched up). Renters should know these things so they won't be accountable. Also, Wi-Fi didn't work when we got there. I wanted to use the bathtub with the jets and it was nasty chunks of blond hair in the drain. No stopper for the water. I am a big coffee drinker, very disappointed with both coffee machines. They were nasty, water should have been emptied out for new renters, and white residue and dust were in both of them. It wouldn't kill them to run some vinegar to clean them. We rented this place because it had a hot tub, but after all I had seen, I didn't bother. I would just be disappointed. I would highly recommend a deep cleaning every 2-3 months. The dryer collects a lot of lint because the lint trap is broken. I don't know what the cleaning fee covers because they are not doing much. The Avantstay has quick responses and their maintenance guy, Paul, that fixed the Wi-Fi was really friendly. I didn't want to spend my vacation complaining, I just wanted to relax and spend time with my family.

Delightful retreat

Excellent location, spacious home with cozy-cabin feel

The pictures for the listing are accurate: furniture is soft & comfortable, closets are stocked full of extra blankets and pillows, beds are comfortable. The piano is in tune! Plenty of bath towels and toiletries provided. Good water pressure in the showers. Walk to the lake is quick and easy. Neighborhood is quiet and the yard is spacious and full of activities and seating. Drive to the Village or the Marina in minutes. Kitchen is well stocked and appliances in like-new condition. The layout is a little funny, but it adds to the charm. We had 9 teenagers w us- there was plenty of common space for everyone to gather comfortably, and great spaces for people to tuck away for privacy (naps!) We’d stay again.

Excellent place to stay!!

We had a great vacation because after a long day of skiing & snowboarding, we had an awesome place to go home to. The house was a little dated, but it was awesome! We brought with us four teens, and they were all entertained. The first day, they played volleyball in the front yard (yes, there is a usable volleyball net, and it was a spacious area), they played billiards and watched tv in the attached garage (it was a little cold, but the kids didn’t care, and they utilized both full size pianos and one small guitar that was available to them. They also had played with the enlarged Connect Four game. The kids didn’t use the snow disks and sleds, but the house had them available. So if anyone is thinking of sledding in the area, no need to bring your own. This place had so much room for everyone that we didn’t bump into each other, and there was always an area to escape to, if one needed quiet time. The kitchen was very equipped, and all bedrooms & bathrooms were clean and comfortable, with complimentary shampoo & soaps. The management company, Avantstay was awesome. They were informative, helpful, and very quick to respond to questions and concerns. We had some small issues when we arrived, and they came over within the hour to address them. Everyone in my party felt this was a perfect place for us, and we all agreed that we would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful stay

The house was terrific, just as pictured. Clean, roomy and stocked with everything we needed. Bring your own firewood if you want to light a fire. Management team was very helpful. Had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again.
