Courtyard Cottage is a charming retreat sleeping six, set in a small community of beautifully converted rural barns. Just a short walk from the stunning South West Coastal Path, it blends character and comfort, offering a perfect coastal escape.. All on the Ground Floor:

Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Courtyard Cottage offers welcoming spaces inside and out, designed for both relaxation and sociable gatherings. To the front, a large, pretty courtyard creates a charming first impression, with outdoor seating perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. At the rear, a more private courtyard provides additional outdoor furniture, a barbecue and an exterior log burner, ideal for dining al fresco on warm days. The gardens are bathed in the sun from morning until night.
Inside the main Barn Conversion, the heart of the home is the open-plan living area, where a wood burner creates a cosy atmosphere. This space flows naturally into the dining area and the fully equipped kitchen, making it easy to cook, eat, and unwind together. From the dining room, a door opens directly onto a smaller yet generous rear garden. The Barn Conversion also features two comfortable bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two singles, along with a full bathroom, where the washing machine is neatly tucked away. The annexe, affectionately called The Dog House, adds extra charm, offering a double bedroom with its own en-suite shower room. The Dog House has itâs own front door and no internal connecting door.
A holiday in Hartland offers the perfect mix of coastal beauty, local charm, and plenty to explore. The village itself is welcoming, with a good selection of traditional pubs, cafés, and independent shops, making it easy to enjoy a relaxed pace of life. A short walk leads you to the famous South West Coast Path (the Salt Path), offering breathtaking walks with stunning sea views. Just a short drive away lies the dramatic Hartland Quay, famed for its rugged cliffs, fascinating geology, and sweeping views that capture the wild spirit of the Atlantic coast.
