Luxury property within walking distance of the beach. This fabulous property has been stylishly fitted and furnished to provide a comfortable stay for the whole family, with two miles of golden sandy beach and amenities virtually on your doorstep making it a great base. The picturesque seaside village of Westward Ho!, known for its beautiful beach and unique pebble ridge which links to Northam Burrows Country Park. The beach offers lots of free entertainment for children whether it is looking in the rock pools, playing in the surf, building sand castles or flying kites. The village also has an array of restaurants, bars, shops, cafes, amusements and also a championship golf course.
A reverse-level design means that all three bedrooms are on the ground floor of this stylish property. The light-filled, king-size bedroom has a door straight out to the garden; it also benefits from an en-suite shower room. The double bedroom features a vaulted ceiling and large window, plus its own en-suite shower room. And the spacious twin room, which has glazed doors to the patio, has use of a lovely family bathroom. On this floor is also a cosy snug with a TV, DVD and sofa. The wonderful open-plan living space is on the first floor - a vaulted room that includes a superb kitchen, a dining table for six and plenty of comfortable seating. Youâll be drawn straight to the views through the bi-fold doors that open to the balcony, but at night you may wish to draw the curtains and snuggle up with a movie on the Smart TV. In the summer, electric ceiling fans will keep you cool but, if you prefer to dine al fresco, the patio area has a dining set and a BBQ.
For surfing, water sports, swimming and sandcastles, the 2-mile stretch of beach in Westward Ho! is the place to be. Northam Burrows Country Park can be accessed directly from the house, while golfers will appreciate the Royal North Devon Golf Club on your doorstep. Nearby attractions include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way Adventure Park and Dartington Crystal, all within 11 miles.
