About this space
Welcome to my cosy cottage in a quiet corner of rural Oxfordshire.
Step inside and relax by the open fire in the stylish living room or entertain in the open plan kitchen with separate dining area.
Upstairs you'll find two double bedrooms, one with an ensuite. Outside there's a private rear terrace.
Conveniently located near Soho Farmhouse, Bicester Village, Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds.
With countryside walks on the doorstep, it's the perfect getaway for 4 guests to eat, sleep & relax!
The space
Honeysuckle Cottage is nestled in a quiet rural neighbourhood, a perfect location for a peaceful, relaxing countryside stay.
Enter through the stable door to the rear and step into the cosy living room complete with open fire, Smart TV and comfy sofas, offering the perfect spot to unwind after a long day exploring the area.
From the living room, double doors open out into the open plan kitchen-diner featuring a dining table that comfortably seats 4 guests.
The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern amenities including an induction hob, large fridge freezer and butchers block. Herbs, spices etc are also provided (please always read the labels if you have any allergies).
Beyond the kitchen is a separate utility room for your convenience and there is also a downstairs WC in the hallway.
Upstairs, you'll discover two generously proportioned double bedrooms. The master bedroom offers a double bed and ensuite shower room with WC and ample storage.
Bedroom 2 provides a comfortable double bed featuring a built in cupboard with hanging & shelf space.
These bedrooms also share access to the family bathroom, with a bath and overhead shower.
Completing the picture is a terraced patio to the rear with ample seating and a BBQ, in a perfect position for enjoying the sun all day long.
There are many countryside walks directly from the doorstep with Soho Farmhouse (members only) 8 miles away, Bicester Village Designer Outlet 9 miles and Blenheim Palace & Woodstock 10 miles away. Please note, there are no amenities in the village itself.
For those traveling with pets, we welcome up to 2 dogs to join you during your stay for an additional cost. Please ensure you review the Pet section under 'Other things to note' before booking with your pet to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests.
Additionally, a travel cot and high chair are available for an extra cost, ensuring a stress-free stay for younger families.
Guest access
Guests have access to the whole end-of-terrace property as described.
There is a study on the first floor for my personal use which is locked & inaccessible.
There are 2 dedicated parking spaces directly behind the property. Please read carefully the arrival instructions on where to park.
Other things to note
Strictly no parties allowed. This is my own home when I'm not working or travelling and is located in a quiet rural neighbourhood. We therefore ask guests to please be respectful and entirely considerate of my home, my personal belongings and neighbours when staying here.
Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am, please respect these timings and keep noise to a minimum.
Standard check-in time is from 4pm onwards and check-out time is by 11am.
You are more than welcome to use the BBQ. Please provide your own charcoal, lighters etc and clean the BBQ afterwards ready for the next guests.
Mid-stay cleans and/or linen changes can be organised on request for an additional charge.
We welcome up to 2 pets for an extra charge of ÂŁ30 for 1 dog or ÂŁ50 for 2 dogs, a bed, bowls and welcome pack are provided (please leave bowls for the next furry guests).
Please kindly consider our house rules if you bring your dog:
- Dogs must be well behaved and house trained
- Please keep your pets off the beds & soft furnishings
- Any fouling on premises must be cleared up please as quickly as possible
- Muddy paws are to be cleaned before entering the house
- Dogs must not be left alone in the property, thank you
We can supply a travel cot & high chair for an additional cost of ÂŁ25 per stay, please kindly request these at the time of booking.
Please note that a ÂŁ50 callout charge will apply for misplaced keys and ÂŁ100 will be charged for lost keys, so please be careful with them and place them back in the lockbox when you check-out.

During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
