Notre retraite d'été de Southwinds est une véranda au deuxiÚme étage située dans un quartier calme du complexe Sea Colony, et à distance de marche du centre de remise en forme, de plusieurs piscines et de la plage. Il y a aussi une navette saisonniÚre qui vous emmÚnera de et vers la plage et d'autres parties du complexe, et des privilÚges de stationnement sur le principe du premier arrivé, premier servi sur le cÎté océan du complexe.

Le condo a un grand porche enveloppant, blindĂ© et peut accueillir confortablement huit. Il a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©novĂ© pour inclure un mobilier moderne, des Ɠuvres d'art coordonnĂ©es et une cuisine bien Ă©quipĂ©e.

En tant qu'invité de Sea Colony, profitez du centre aquatique, du centre de remise en forme, du centre de tennis, de l'aire de jeux, des sentiers pédestres et d'un demi-mile de plage privée surveillée. Profitez de la plage, plongez dans l'une des 12 piscines, jouez au tennis sur l'un des 32 courts de tennis ou détendez-vous simplement avec un cocktail sur le porche enveloppant.

Nous avons un pack et une poussette parapluie pour votre usage afin que vous n'ayez pas Ă  les trimballer pendant votre voyage. Tous les clients de Sea Colony sont tenus de payer des frais d'association rĂ©crĂ©ative de 40 $ par personne (par semaine) pendant les mois d'Ă©tĂ©. Perfect for a young family

We had a great time in Bethany! The house was perfect for a family of four - loved that we could put our little kids in their own rooms at night and be able to use the living space without waking them. It was easy to get to the beach both by tram and driving our own car. The neighborhood splash pad and pool were also awesome for the kids. We'll be back for sure!

Nice clean unit and great owner

Our family stayed here over the 4th of July and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was very clean, fully stocked with everything we needed and the owner was super responsive. Plenty of room in the unit including a lot of space in the upstairs loft where our three children preferred to sleep. The screened in porch was very spacious and we utilized it thoroughout our trip. We rented bikes including one tag-along beach gear carrier to lug everything back and forth to the beach, which I would recommend. You can walk to the beach from here, but biking made it more enjoyable for us. Thanks Tom!

Best family vacation spot!

We had a fantastic trip to Tom’s beach property. It’s located in Sea Colony which offers so many great amenities. The kids loved taking the tram to the beach and using all the pools in the property including the big slash pad at the aquatic center. The condo was great for us. We really enjoyed having a big screened in deck. Kitchen was nicely equipped. Bathrooms were a good size. Two bath tubs for bathing the little ones. We will definitely book here next summer!

Great stay however, i did not see where we needed to supply: hand towels, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, sink soap. Also lighting was terrible. At night not enough lights. One light living room and one small light in dining room. The carpet needed to be cleaned.

Family vacation

This was my first time renting anything on line .I have to say the owner was very thorough and made the process easy .My family and I were very satisfied.The condo was more than we expected.It was clean, most important to us but also very homey.We loved the screened in porch ,the beach and pools .We hope to return again.

quick get away

The propery is wonderful! very cute condo with a loft and an awsome screened in porch - perfect for game night! Great location with great amenities. Tom was so quick with sending the plumber for a small clig in the shower. It was quickly fixed with absolutely no hassel. THANKS

A wonderful place to stay..........very relaxing week!

We loved this condo and it was a perfect set-up for our family. My parents rented this place for my sister and her husband and toddler son and for my husband and myself. We stayed upstairs in the very comfortable loft and my sister's family had two bedrooms downstairs. All of the beds were great! We appreciated the updated and well stocked kitchen as we did do a lot of our own cooking for the week. The living room area with the tall ceilings was very spacious and the screened in porch was a great spot for relaxing and reading. The location worked well for us, between the large tennis facility and the beautiful new fitness center, both of which we used every day. We took advantage of the group exercise classes offered during the week. We were glad that this unit had some beach chairs which was great because we did not have room to pack our own chairs. Overall, we had a wonderful week and were happy that hurricane Florence had very little effect on our area. We look forward to returning to Sea Colony at the same time next year.

Loved everything about it! The decor was tasteful and calming. Location couldn’t be better.

The location is perfect. I love the natural setting with so many trees and set back from the main road. A quick walk to the shuttle, pool and tennis courts made it a very convenient spot. The screened porch is so nice and big. Kitchen is well equipped. Beds are comfortable. Ceiling fans are a plus. I’d love to live there year round!

Wonderful place to relax

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and spacious condo. We have two young children and this place provided us with everything we needed and more. Very modern and clean. Sea Colony passes allowed us to enjoy several pools right on the beach. Property owner, Tom was very responsive to all of our questions. "Welcome Book" was very helpful! LOVELY CONDO AMONG THE TREES!

We loved the setting of the Southwinds rental, when we opened the blinds every window had beautiful trees to view. Parking was conveniently close to the condo and the wrap around porch was a nice feature. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. In the bedrooms, there was plently of closet space to store our luggage and personal items and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were well appointed with plently of hot water for a great shower. The loft space is a true third bedroom with closet, desk, and a comfortable chair for reading. Overall the condo is spacious, comfortable , and beautifully decorated. Tom, our host was available before, during, and after our stay. Tom has a wonderful sense of humor and is easy to communicate with. We would recommend this rental to anyone who enjoys nature, the beach, and is looking for a pleasant place to stay. Looking forward to returning to Bethany Beach in the future, thanks Tom for being an excellent host! Jelena from PA

Great stay! Great host!

We had a great time at Tom's condo. He was very helpful and responsive the entire time before, during and after the stay. The condo was even nicer than the photos showed, and it had everything we needed for a wonderful time. There were plenty of beach toys and boogie boards to borrow for the beach, and everything you'd need in the kitchen to prepare meals for a big group of people. Tom was so accommodating, and we would highly recommend staying at his home. We have two girls under 4, and it was a safe, and comfortable environment for them. The screened in porch was perfect for quiet breakfasts and late night chats. We hope to come back next year!

Perfect New Year's Getaway

Tom's Sea Colony home was delightful. Modern, view of trees and a warm fireplace for the cold nights. Location was wonderful being close to the newly remodeled recreation center and a short walk to the ocean. The kitchen had all the essentials to make evening dinners and plenty of room for teenagers to escape from their parents. Tom was responsive to our reservation request and during our stay. Definitely look forward to returning.

Serene, Peaceful & Stress-free Condo close to the Beach, but in a lovely Wooded Setting!

This condo is very well maintained, spotlessly clean & very serene with lovely simplistic décor! Somewhere between Swedish & modern with high ceilings & a loft, it felt very spacious & comfortable! Since it is on the upper floor, there is a flight of stairs, but being up so high provides a sense of privacy & created the feeling of being in a tree house, especially in the bedrooms, which we loved! We really did not find the stairs to be any problem. We loved the sleek kitchen with tons of dishes & cookware! Especially appreciated the large pantry closet which was completely stocked with anything we needed! The washer & dryer off the kitchen were handy as well! The WIFI worked great & also the flat screen TV with cable! There is a smaller TV in each bedroom! The loft made a wonderful third bedroom and I found it perfect for reading in a comfortable chair by the window and for working on my laptop at the convenient desk! There were even extra throws for afternoon naps! Even though it was a week with record high temperatures, the A/C seemed to have no problems keeping the condo pleasantly cool, even up in the loft, which is also equipped with a remote control operated ceiling fan to keep the air circulating! We enjoyed taking our evening wine & appetizers out onto the very large & comfortably furnished screen porch with views of the woods! The owner, Tom, was fantastic; extremely accessible! Anything I needed throughout the rental process, he was right on top of it! With his organization & great up-front communication, he made the check-in process at Sea Colony a breeze! He provided a letter of introduction & the keys well in advance along with clear information about what to expect. So while I observed other guests being surprised by the Sea Colony fees and a slow check-in, we were processed in less than 10 minutes & on to fun! Additionally, there was a wonderful information binder that he provided in the condo with answers to any questions that came up! My security deposit refund was processed quickly & efficiently! There are tons of things to do in Sea Colony, if all the activities in Bethany Beach don't keep one busy enough! We used one of the Sea Colony pools, which was just a short walk from the condo. We also really enjoyed the nearly nightly free entertainment on the BB boardwalk! I highly recommend this rental! Overall, it was a great experience!!
