You are required to check in at the Marketplace Office, located at the following address: 33546 Marketplace Bethany Beach, DE 19930
Hours of Operation: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Hours will vary seasonally. Office closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Yearâs Day.)
Directions to Office: From the North: Route 1 south, right onto West Way, right at the stop sign. From the South: Route 1 north, left onto West Way, right at the stop sign.
Our office is in the middle of the shopping center. The Marketplace Office is located in the Marketplace Shopping Center, across from the Sea Colony high-rise buildings. (33546 Marketplace Bethany Beach, DE 19930).
If you arrive after hours, you will still need to visit the office to obtain your check-in packet. A phone number will be posted on the building; call this number and customer service will give you the code to open the lockbox and retrieve your packet.
Please note that all keys must be returned to the office when you check out. In the event that a key is lost/not returned upon check-out, a charge will be applied to your reservation to cover the replacement cost.
2025 Sea Colony Recreational Association Fees (paid on-site per person, per week required for all guests 4 and older)
Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.
Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle. This rental is located on floor 8.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the âDamage Waiverâ). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page.
Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
Great location but, the condo shouldn't be rented out. I couldn't even sit in the living room. I'm just glad that I had packed my slippers to walk on the carpet
The Sea Colony area is lovely. The amenities and fitness center are wonderful, and access to the beach and the beautiful swimming pools are top notch. But the condo we rented was very old, outdated and the appliances barely working. Unfortunately the dish washer was broken as well as one of the ceiling fans and televisions in one of the bedrooms. Also the mattresses were very old, lumpy and uncomfortable. If I rent in Sea Colony again, it would be a different unit. Thanks for the opportunity to comment.

The issues come within the unit. The mattresses are very old and box springs creak mercilessly anytime an occupant moves. The carpet inside and on the porch must go - it triggered a major allergy event. These two basic updates are not an unreasonable ask, and the onus is on property owners and management to maintain a healthy and comfortable environment for guests.
With a a little investment, this property could be a gem.
The view was spectacular and location was great for families with children. HOWEVER, my main complaint is that the property needs to be updated. Every single bed in the property squeaks so much that it is impossible to get a good nights sleep. Seriously, every time you move, you wake yourself up. Bring your own pillows. They smell bad!
Also, it's time to get some new living room furniture. It should be thrown out it was so bad. I wouldn't even sit on it without a towel. Again, great location, but I wouldn't do it again for the price. For that I amount I expect a good nights sleep and clean furniture to sit on.
We had a great time here. Enjoyed sitting on balcony, wonderful view. Parking was easy and close by. Plenty of room on property with three rooms, could all have our own space!!
We enjoyed our long weekend at Sea Colony! The property was exactly as listed and we could tell it had been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. There was the perfect amount of space and the proximity to the beach was a amazing. We would recommend!
Location was great and private beach a huge plus. The unit we stayed in was nice overall. The mattress in the queen master was terrible. Very squeaky and old. Definitely time to get another mattress. For the price we paid to stay on the beach night time sleeping wasn't very good.
The property is older and not luxurious. However, the beach was very nice. Our individual unit was dated, cluttered and a bit grimy. The beds were so bad, the noise from the springs kept us all awake half the night, every night. Also, the A/C broke our first night. The Mgmnt got it fixed fairly quickly.
